Good evening sir, pls sorry to disturb u. the gold buy still running with about 130+ pips, while the GBPJPY was later closed with -30+ pips. i entered GOLD buy @1267.43 and now the price is 1280, is there more room to move further?. i want to use this free $30 from XM to grow my equity.
...you're not disturbing me sir. We are only helping one another here.

Gold: On weekly it is still neutral and it can go either way, but intra-day wise, it looks like it might likely reverse to rally, but...
GBPJPY: Weekly is rising. As I mentioned earlier, it might likely pullback to support before rallying. I think by now, from last week close, you should be in profit as at today.

Cheers.

Two major obvious H&S but only 1 is valid according to the rule.
The rule helps, so you don't start to chase shadows.
Looking for H&S even where there's none.

Hello Redsox... Ive been tradin the forex market recently with a little bit of success. Thanks for sharing such valued info on here freely... Based on your H&S system this seems to be a valid setup.
It alligns with the 61.8 fib level...

3.Still on profit taking, a market based system of profit taking is more reasonable than fantasy. It is nice to have 1:10 R:Rs but it is fantasy if it is not price based. Where is the next support and resistance? What time of the day or week is it? For example. A day trader still hoping for a major move after UK session close is day dreaming.

5.Don’t fight to get a 100% success rate. Anything above 50% is good if you target 1:2 RR. If you keep changing your system with every loss, you will never grow.

All so valid, especially 3 and 5. If you keep doing 5, you'll keep running rat race, running in circle and going no where.

bigbasho:
It is nice to have 1:10 R:Rs but it is fantasy if it is not price based This is what i am gunning for now. So that i can make more money from a 20 pips move than a 200 pips move. My goal is to make money not pip. kikikiki. @Redsox should know where i quote this from..

Mi boss, I dey feel you. Got your drift, not everybody will though wink

I've been holding this A/Chf forever and it's not going anywhere, phew!!
U/J , I believe there is room to downside, so I'm going to hold.

GBPUSD sell

Nice entry on G/U ... and I also see M structure there.

Re: Forex Trade Alerts Season 17 by redsox11: 2:07pm On Nov 08, 2017
Who caught the G/A sell... I woke to see that it didn't reach my pending order, would have been a lovely H&S trade.

I now look for H&S, added it fully to my arsenal now, I prefer the ones with low risk and more reward to be on a safer side.

If SL is too big, I just ignore and move on, there is always another trade around the corner.

U/Cad took me out for -9pips. Took early profit on Aud/cad +11 as it went into ranging.

Re: Forex Trade Alerts Season 17 by FX(m): 3:28pm On Nov 08, 2017
EURJPY has finally broken the 131.82 support. If it closes below this support today by 11pm , I will sell with a target of 250 pips at 129.30. But it must close below this support at 131.82 on the daily chart for there to be any business and I will sell only on a retest of the support turned resistance area. I hope you guys understand what I mean when I say I will sell on a retest of the support turned resistance area. This means means that price must retest 131.82 area and after testing it, price should prove that 131.82 area is now a resistance. Stop loss 50 pips. Risk to reward ratio : 1:5. If you feel this is not an A+ setup, give your reasons. So be on alert! It is a waiting game.

Peeps go to university for 3+ years to get a degree which doesn't mean you'll be successful in life, it just makes things easier for you, broaden your horizons. Imagine if ppl put the same effort in FX, a lot people would have been more successful. Instead people look at it as get rich quick scheme.

Nice job Nennin . Don't forget, you've to keep at it, nothing is impossible. You have to work hard and put in the work.
Keep it up man.

Ps: True story... A Nigerian guy, living in Surulere, Lagos, username Kin- something on FF turns 10k dollars to 137k in 2 weeks.. We've got some real talented people in 9ja. Of course, not everybody will get to that level.

You don't have to compete with anybody, just compete with yourself, that way you'll continue improving.

I saw a reaction at your area, would have use the sharp fall as A. Did you catch this? 9-10pips SL, it was good for 30 pips. I usually lock my trade/ breakeven when I have 1:1 RR, that way it's a free trade.

One can set pending or wait around the C area for reaction before entering.

Re: Forex Trade Alerts Season 17 by redsox11: 12:58am On Nov 09, 2017
The C almost got me, that's why it's good to add some pips buffer incase of stop hunt. I set it to breakeven after 1:1 RR was reached.

I've marked out some AB,C area for future reference... Some watchlist.

Please keep an eye on this trade.

I strongly feel that GBPUSD will keep buying until 1.324* region. You can check the reaction at 1.3096 level (it seems obvious that price found demand there).

I always recommend selling from an UNTESTED resistance level or on the retest of a newly broken support level.

This way, you get into the trade using LIMIT orders.

I got into a sell on EURJPY, the screenshot shows the trade in it's early stage.

Well good for you. May the pips be with you. I will wait until 131.82 support is broken properly and price closes below it on daily chart. Then I will sell on retest. I don't trade 1 hour chart.

Good morning brother, I have been following your posts and I must say I've learnt so much from you. You're doing a great job.

Please when trading your H and S, where to you consider as your area of interest? Is it S&R lines/zones? Or is there another factor you use to determine it.

Thanks

Yesterday's candle closed as a dragon fly doji with a bullish body. Don't you think the chance for a reversal to the upside is high?

If it reverses, then fine. I'm not selling yet. I said I will only sell if price is below 131.82 on a daily closing. So until that day comes, I will do nothing. If price reverses, I will only buy when it breaks the 134.40 resistance. On my daily chart, the doji has a bearish body and not a bullish body. Post yours let me see.

Best use what you're comfortable with. S&R is good, even supply and demand. I usually like confluence of different things, I don't even think about it, when I look at my charts, they just jumped at me. I'll talk more about area of interest sometime soon.

Re: Forex Trade Alerts Season 17 by redsox11: 11:43pm On Nov 09, 2017
I've given some quality pattern to add to your toolbox, some trade only this pattern. Enter only the ones with tight SL or ignore. Minimum 1:2 RR, 1:3RR is better. Stop to breakeven @ 1:1 RR

With this charts, no way in hell you won't understand it, I've got it over simplified for us smiley wink

Re: Forex Trade Alerts Season 17 by redsox11: 11:45pm On Nov 09, 2017
No more...
Enjoy !!

Ps: If you see the one with small hook where you can hide your SL above, that's your 1:10 RR right there... Scan your charts, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Pps: Now we can say we are graduate of "Valid" H&S (Head and shoulder) Pattern.
