Those who manage to get the dirty wealth flaunt it to make you feel you ain't doing enough. This alone is encouraging crime.

And our young ones are just trying their best to emulate them. The thing tire me. I have vowed never to be envious of anyone.

thank you, bro. If life was in anyway fair to these guys, they wouldn't have been armed robbers. Nobody wakes up in the morning and decide to become a robber, a prostitute, thief , begger, they succumbed to societal pressure of extreme lack and become what we see them to be. As much as I want criminals punished, I still think of why they go into crime. No justification for crime, but I can't stop being a human.

Agreed but you remember the case of the little kid that was lynched recently in Lagos, right? Because he stole GS04. I am not defending any criminal but some make wrong choices because of the environment they grew up in.

Quite a few just love the criminal lifestyle.

i had friends who wanted to be Gangsters,, drug dealers and thieves, when i was in school but i made a CHOICE not to be like them.

I've seen and encountered them. Two months ago, one came to my house . I have entered into Minna town barefooted because of them. So don't worry. That I don't have hatred filled with bile for them doesn't mean I haven't encountered them.

I don't think we really read the stories in Nairaland before we comment. For me almost all the time the story does not always tally with the pictures.
Eg this story says that the robbers were shot on their legs. That means they are all alife (people don't die cos of leg injuries). All the bodies here are very dead
Nairaland is manufacturing stories and just look for best suited pictures to match.
