SupremeCourt:
Its the easiest to build, does not mean its easy to build. It means among all radars its the easiest radar to build. People from your part of Africa have a thinking problem and bark like a bingo over simple observations people make online.
"Its the easiest to build, does not mean its easy to build"... We know your life is kinda confusing as a 40-year-old virgin, but try thinking straight it might help you.

SupremeCourt:
Passive PESA is the easiest type of radar to build. Even Korea and India, etc have gone beyond PESA, they are busy with AESA radar. China has moved ahead of AESA to build QUANTUM radar.
Good, out of 200 countries in the world only less than a dozen have a functional passive radar... A cold beer and biltong for the CSIR, it's a job well done.

Why ignore a self proclaimed US-based military researcher? The temptation to whip his ass is rather too much. smiley

It all depends on how you look at it. The X, C, Ku, L and ka band all fall under super high frequency range (SHF), the the Ka-band fall under extremely high frequency (EHF). The major deal is the ultra high frequency (UHF).

No much difference bro. The Nigerian military use the satellite too but I don't know the extent of use. I know the military just commissioned their space agency a week ago.

Wrong you are ! korea exports fighter jets and warships. India is the biggest arms importer in the world. China is among biggest 7 arms exporters in the world. Only a fool thinks thats a small fry. You better get your head reconfigured.
Which is exactly my point.

Just confirmed that the L band is UHF. So we have the same thing.

L band = UHF
Ku, C, and X band = SHF
Ka band = EHF

"Its an easy radar to build, but radars are hard to build. Major players in the global arms market make more advanced radars"

So what exactly is your point?

I will say Nigerian defence not Nigerian army. The army, Navy and airforce work together with Nigcomsat for now but since they just launched defence space administration this week, we should expect lot of changes. Seriously, I can't say much on the extent of use but I know they've being using it in the fight against boko haram and they are really interested in the new satellites.

Whats up with the rubber bands on the grenade?

Why would you want to stop the lever from popping when you pull the pin?
