warri being a militant zone(I don't subscribe to this idea) doesn't stop her from being the most developed city in Delta both economically and otherwise. Apart from enjoying "capital status", Asaba should be in the same bracket with Agbor and ughelli(this is arguable)....
meanwhile, you are from Anambra and you are dabbling in Delta arguments.
What even gave the impression that am from anambra?

Secondly if i had not lived in warri, i would have agreed with u that warri is the most developed city in delta but is a pure lie......the most developed city is Asaba......

And finally u dont need to subscribe to my idea of warri militancy......is a pure truth.......

Even a 2 year old child don turn militant in warri.......

And even when they act u see signs of creek and water behaiviour.....

Babaginda is not wrong moving the capital to asaba........

And still what gave u impression u am from anambra?
Re: Delta: One State, Two Government Houses by Nobody: 3:36pm On Nov 12, 2017
Warri deserve no capital......
Asaba is still the best......

And Delta state will finally become a full blown militant state filled with iliterate drunken almajiris.
Look at federal appointees in critical sectors from Delta state in the GEJ and buhari government, 99% of them are from anioma/Delta north. The rest of Delta can't match them.
Too much militancy and ogogoro in Delta south.
True!!!! Delta North saves their asss and represents them in federal projects.
Na only them dem deh use calm delta south down if not them for crazee

Your threads gave you out...
warri being more developed than Asaba is a fact that can't be argued...

Most Delta People still do not count asaba as their state capital..Asaba became the capital courtsey of Babaginda's wife,Maryam babaginda who is from Asaba...She got the capital taken to asaba courtsey of her..Warri till the end of the world would still be regarded as the unofficial capital of Delta state
give you evidence that point to the fact that Asaba got the state capital due to maryam babaginda

i see no reason why this should be a problem... Delta state from which I did my NYSC is so wide by landscape and territory... imagine traveling from Kwale to Asaba for 2hours...what do you say of people in Warrior or Sapele...
i would have love to the capital to be in ughelli..its the centre of the whole state...

Delta has a good road network between towns, better than other Niger Delta States. The problem here is most of state's population is located to the south- warri/Effurun axis which is also the economic nerve of the state. Asaba is at the extreme north of Delta State. Infact the last town before you cross into the south east which makes no common sense. I remember when I was processing a scholarship doc in school, I had to travel each to Asaba 2hours away to get my papers signed. Now imagine how difficult it is for business men when all the state govt ministries and parastatals are 2 hours away.
What of Rivers state, do they have two government house in different locations?

They should not move any f.u..king. capital to Warri, the Urhobos always behave as if they own the state. If they want, they should go and create their own state and call it whatever name they like, they should not tell us to create our own state as if we are visitors just patching as Deltans. The Urhobos are Benin people who migrated to Delta State just the way the people in Delta North migrated from the East to Delta state, even the Itshekiries and Ijaws migrated from Yoruba and Bayelsa respectively, so nobody should try to claim the state or the state name like it's theirs, if the Urhobos are going to form their own state, they should name Warri state and not Delta State. Urhobo people de always wan clam say na them get Delta, rubbish, the capital nor the go anywhere, make them close the one for Warri.
Your momma didn't give you any little bit of history how they robbed the urhobos and moved the capital to asaba!

If the urhobo were violent people as the media usually paint them to be, this would not have happened in the first place. As a matter of fact, the urhobos careless about easy money especially politics! There are lots of prominent urhobo men who made their wealth from genuine business venture. The facts are there for everyone to see

The urhobos are not like the west or north who after oil was found went ballistic for easy wealth! As a matter of fact the urhobos were shortchanged in the system of things and everyone turned a blind eye!

Before you speak anything henceforth. Try and get a little bit of history lesson first. Cheers

Ughelli was the propose and defining LGA before everything was politically changed by babangida the S.I unit of corruption and was taken to asaba because his wife had ties with them.

I don't understand why some people find it difficult to accord the Aniomas their due respect in the Delta project. I know colleagues who vowed that not in their lifetime will an Anioma man rule Delta State. Today, they are still alive and nursing the pain of their unguided hatred. I think what we should be concern about is good governance and how to move Delta State forward.
its not about which tribe rules Delta state any more but about good leadership.. I voted for Okowa because I believed it is fair for all ethnic group to be given an opportunity to govern but I am highly disappointed in Okowa leadership .. They are all the same looters.. And nothing more. I don't know why Deltans are cursed with bad leaders.Pls Deltans ensure you all try and avoid anything PDP.. Because nothing good will come out of anybody that will represent that party..

There is a picture that was posted last year that showed Ibori, uduahgan and okowa paying football together in university. They all knew each other years before politics. It's not about tribe. These people are passing the governorship amoungst their friends.

I stand with you bro. That dude should be sent packing in 2019. He is a hugeeeeeeeeee mistake!
To be sincere ,it's like Delta state has a plethora of bad leaders ,when Uduaghan was there people felt he was the worst that could befall any state not knowing that the successor would be worse off. With all the huge statutory allocations that the state gets there is still nothing to show for it,the only thing Delta leaders know is how to get a huge chunk of the cake when they get into power leaving pittances for the governed, personal aggrandizement and sycophancy ,just imagine the special adviser saying the governor would win easily a second term, something he knows would be pretty difficult if only he would tell himself the bitter truth bt he won't because he wants to keep his appointment, social amenities re at sub-zero level, most roads in th state re still riddled with pot-holes,so what do the citizens gain despite paying their taxes as at when due. Delta state has never had it this bad.

The most painful thing is that this Okowa served at most of the political rungs in the state in the past,as a CCC for his L.G.A,as commissioner,as a SSG,as a Senator and now as the governor ,so where is the wealth of experience that this man has garnered over these years at each level of his stewardship? He garnered zero experience absolutely..The man is simply a mistake for a governor... Deltans await him at the polls in 2019,let's see if he would be able to rig himself in,he shouldn't forget that he can only rig successfully in areas where he is popular and not in areas where they harbor a deep resentment towards him and is therefore least popular...Let him and his advisers continue to keep their heads in la-la land..

Deltas don't joke with kai kai.

One Corper during my service was always drinking it and one day he went into class and started teaching the pupils who were on mid term break... Empty class.

Maybe, the person who created the two capitals was high on kia kia but I know most deltas prefer Warri as their capital
In Delta where i served in Ndemili Ndokwa west.

You can be broke and not be able to see food or money or smbodi that wud give u, but if you want mokite/monkey tail/kai kai and weed you can never lack it. Somebody would be available to buy or give u for free

Yeah,I am happy that more Deltans re beginning to see the monumental failure that the guy is,I seriously wish the next gubernatorial election in the state would be a great departure from wat it used to be in the past when "Agberos, touts, and miscreants" decided who won and this was landed Deltans in this terrible mess.

If any Deltan is to be objective enough, would he say this guy has performed above average, his performance is an abysmal 10%,despite his supposed wealth of experience, the guy has failed.

The guy only came to loot and nothing else,if he is not paying salaries promptly then he is busy deducting illegal levies from civil servants' salaries or tampering with funds meant for workers cooperative unions, how greedy can one get?

All Deltans hands must be on deck if the state is to move forward,it is a shame that an oil producing state of such magnitude would be wanting in social amenities and infrastructures,it's just too horrible to imagine.
