Everybody wants to be their own boss in Naija... instead of growing with one company that covers a lot of expenses and benefit from economies of scale, now you too will have to pay for your own office, furniture, PR, secretary, lawyer, studio, reducing the ability of both companies to retain capital. Also bosses are to blame because they tend to take too much profit without distributing more equitably. Anyways, good luck sha. |

Most people would come here without any idea of how a business is run and rant all manner of nonsense without checking their thoughts...but one thing you should all understand is that you cannot come in and deceive a label to invest in you and when they have invested hugely, in hundreds of millions, then you just wake up one day and try to run away when they are struggling to recoup their investment...It doesnt work that way and even when someone is trying to sell a fake news ..it still wouldnt work and it's no basis to want to play smart with someone's money. He has his own property in Lagos Island with assorted cars, yet he was a nobody when the label picked him up from a slum in 2013. I live in the same Estate as this guy and I havent seen many Nigeria Artist living better than him...but while you all go about issues that you have no clue you should understand that it is only a label that owns the right to the songs they produced so for a start it would be illegal for Kiss to perform any of the songs he wrote for GWW unless giving the permission otherwise both he and anyone inviting him to perform are liable under the law...just to give you a heads-up until we all hear from both sides. |
