Mikel is the upgrade of pirlo cool cool
if Mikel were white, say an English man, he would be mentioned in the same class as Xavi, Pirlo, Iniesta and would definitely still be playing at Chelsea; most likely as the captain.

It seems being African knocks off 30% of one's abilities in the eyes of the World.

That's what the formation says. But where did you see them play for the most part of the game?

Oasis007:
Bro..... we played 2 Upront in the Match, Iwobi played as a SS, while Mikel pkayed as an AM.

the coach corrected the glaring errors which I pointed out earlier and the results improved. Nice switch of plans there
We didn't switch plan, we switched personel. You were spot on about Shehu. He can't play as a WB

Iheanacho is a baller and sharp striker...but please, dude should improve on his footwalk...common, can't he take a payer one on one undecided... he should expand his horizons..I think @ hats why rohr tried him from the wings agains Algeria. ..

He should learn some footwalk and dribbles and also work on his touches and controls ..then he would be lukaku 5.1 smiley

That's what I have always said: Iwobi is an AM and should play there if we want to get the best out of him. The only down side to his game right now is that he just can't last 90 mins and he could do more defensively as well.

O pari
But did you notice how much Iwobi pressed today...Unbelievable. I was impressed by that aspect of his game.

Now, to the yellow card given to Nacho and the shove by Otamendi. It shows Iheanacho is a well controlled person because if na me I can let that dude treat me like that ooo given the fact it wasnt intentional.

More games for Uzoho... He might actually take the number 1 shirt..

forgiveness:
Kayode if Rohr doesn't play you tonight then you are not in his plan to the world cup. Even if you score hundred goals this season it will change anything. He has made up his mind already.

A coach that prefers you ahead of Nwakaeme and a coach that kept Ebuehi on the bench. What do you expect?

From the comments here about Ebuehi, we can see the best are not always needed due to....

Anyways, keep your hope in God and humble yourself b4 d Lord and he shall lift you up.
Don't worry. Everybody would have opportunity to prove themselves. Rejoice for Ebuehi.

He did well today but we shouldn't use just one game to displace a tested Shehu, he has more games to play to cement his place
That is why I said Ebuehi takes my pick. I am not in any way saying Ebuehi must be the one. It is my preference.

Forget the footwork he should have passed that ball to a free Iwobi.

Deft and strong. He's intelligent. Check his movements, his positioning.
I agree with you that he is strong, surprisingly. Such a well-coached player!

The formation was not working in the first half, but what a second half that was served to us. Fantastic game.

It was magical. In fact, those two players: Brian Idowu and Tyronne Ebuehi have to play if we want to play a 3-4-3 formation. They are the closest things we have to Wingbacks in this team.

O pari
They will be back up for Joel Obi and Victor Moses and don't forget that Iwobi and Simom can also play that role. grin

Mikel is so smooth and silky I dontknow how he do it. Controls the ball like there is nothing to worry about,so classy. Never stop pressing with Iwobi and Nacho. Mikel is a great leader and we cant afford to lose him this time.

I think 2 things changed the game today. Iheanacho's goal and Leon being subbed. Nacho's goal gave the team confidence especially it's quality. Then Leon was poor again, we need to get him out of that club because lack of game time is really showing on him.

I did, I am not saying he didn't perform well but to say he's an upgrade of Pirlo, haba. He's not far away but not better than Pirlo.
Let's leave at that.

Yea, it definitely wasn't intentional. Otamendi sold it very well to the ref - he's an Argie, after all grin
