An American based automobile company is looking at the idea of employing a Nigerian freelancer: social media specialist for the promotion and marketing of the company’s automobile units on social media. The nature of the job gives flexibility and allows the individual to work from anywhere at anytime, as long as the company’s social media is running effectively with outstanding content. The company wants someone resident in West Africa for various reasons and would like opinions from Nigerians, if employing a Nigerian resident in Nigeria is a good idea. The pros and cons please.

There are more pros than cons, a Social Media manager can manage, market and promote a brand's social media account from anywhere as well as he/she gets the right contents and detailed materials to work with from the company.
The social media manager can easily create contents and strategize on how to promote the brand as well as there is constant communication between the account manager and the company (through e-mail, Skype or any other appropriate means).
There are other things he/she would need to put in place like graphics design to create contents and more.

I'm a social media manager/marketer you can contact me ........, so we can talk more or you can drop your mail

To the best of my ability there is no pros & cons being that the world is a global village thus it solely depends on the potential employee' s versatile nature to stay put with trending global practices. Thanks
