APC will just allow Obiano to complete his second term and use him in 2019 because they know that Obiano will never support PDP with Peter Obi still there.

It happened in my Edo state some years ago when Oshiomole was going for seconded term and Jonathan needed 2011.
A deal was struck that Jonathan will not help the PDP candidate and that Oshiomole will deliver Edo for Jonathan in 2011 and that was how it was done.
Obiano will campaign and support Buhari in 2019 against Peter Obi PDP.
So it's win win for APC.
Nwoye will get a federal appointment and try again when Obiano can not contest again
