Well, I feel sorry for ndi Anambra. IPOB just assisted APC in rigging the election senseless. I once thought APC had no chance but this low turnout changes everything. I really wouldn't be surprised if Nwoye wins it. Good luck ndi Anambra.

Whether You vote or You don't vote ,the highest political rigger will win the elections.
when they vote, their votes don't count, the electoral umpire have over time showed Incompetence and conivance in upturning and short changing people's votes.
In other cases we have seen videos of security agents partaking in electoral malpractices with reckless abandon, and you say the igbo man is foolish to take a decision in exposing this fraud for the world to see?I think other regions need to emulate them and not calling them names if truly we desire a prosperous county...

When you mentioned IPOB people think it is a group of miscreants. Professors and igbo Chiefs are in support. Kanu is not the originator of biafra. During the Biafran war many igbos never supported the war like hw igbos also reject IPOB but majority supported ojukwu during the war and majority are still in support of IPOB. IPOB is a majority igbo movement those align to IPOB are Majority

This is the kind of defeatist mentality that changes nothing. Look at Akwa Ibom and Lagos states. If the voters in those 2 states had adopted this attitude, do you think they would have gotten governors like Akpabio, Fashola and Ambode who changed the fortunes of their states, and improved their infrastructure?

Later, you lot will come online to lament about marginalisation, poor govt performance, neglect, political issues etc. When you had a chance to partake in a process to change the status quo, you did not. Am waiting for the day, one Anambra person will come online to lament about how they were given a charlatan at the helm of affairs, instead of a governor. Nansense! sad

As big as Igbo land is, and as educated as Ndi Igbo are, you can still say such a thing? The right person is not there, because your people have refused to search for him and support him, to get into power. undecided How come states like Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Kebbi etc, have been able to get governors like Fashola, Ambode, Akpabio, Donald Duke, Bagudu etc , to pilot the affairs of their states, and improve their infrastructure? You think it was by boycotting elections? cheesy

Only Donald Duke? Do you know what Lagos was like before Fashola took over, and Ambode succeeded him? Oga, please ask those who know and have been living inside there, for years. Same for Akpabio. Without him, Akwa Ibom would not have an airport, stadium, great roads etc, that they can boast of today. In the past his people were known for providing most of the houseboys and house girls in Nigeria, but all that one has changed. Go to Uyo and talk to the residents, before coming back in here to share your views. undecided

Empty rhetoric. What year did you school in Lagos? shocked When did you relocate to the SE? You obviously lost touch with Lagos. Fashola's legacy is still quite obvious even as we speak, and Ambode is building upon his foundation. wink That is why projects such as Lekki Free Trade Zone which will give Lagos the second largest sea port is still on course. That is why security forces such as Rapid Response Squad (RRS) has improved security situation in Lagos. That is why ferry services, currently boosting water transportation, is now available in Lagos. That is why a rail project is ongoing, within the state. cheesy That is why federal roads were repaired by Fashola and the people have benefited from it. Common sense should tell you that instead of boycotting any election, you should organize, sponsor participate and vote for and elect pro ipob candidates to promote your views, hopes, and desires at both local and national levels.

I mean, the fact that you foolishly did not perform your civic obligations mean there won't be a winner or INEC won't announce any winner?

Unilag, just before 1999 and graduated just before mid 2000s.
Served in the North and came back to work briefly in Lagos when Fashola was just warming to take up the mantle. Two years after Fashola was a governor, I went back to do my Masters. UNILAG again. And I was there till I decided to go back East, when Ambode was just emerging. And I have visited every other year including this year.

Because this election had surely a low turnout, because of there sit at home order.

Given Nigerian ranking, Fashola, Ambode and some of the APC governors are trying, at least better than South East governors.
But, we deserve better.

You have been out of circulation in Lagos, and your visit has been restricted to specific parts of Lagos. Instead of those brief periodic annual visits, stay in Lagos for several months at a stretch. What men do you have running things in APC Lagos? Akoka Yaba does not reflect the whole of Lagos.

Listen, I have spent many years living, working and studying in different parts of Lagos and I am still impressed by the changes made by the Fashola-Ambode administration. I only listed a few for you. Talk to different residents who have lived in Lagos continuously over the past 10 -15 years and ask them for their opinions. undecided
