Aww the package has ended, I really enjoyed it, this writer is good, I love the stories n you can literally see the growth of the characters, I cried like a sick puppy during the father-daughter story arc, I don't know why the ratings weren't higher maybe cos the first two episodes were draggy, anyway I'm not the biggest fan of yonghwa's acting but this is such a good drama comeback for him, lyh is usually a hit or a miss for me but here she's totally a hit, I hope she is a hit in her next drama too cos I miss her already, this drama is beautiful and sad, I wish it could be made into a movie, I love how the main leads met at the end at the feet of the angel, I love how so ran's boss accepted rejection like a man (gosh where can one find a cool guy like that), I really loved Cws's book, it's so real and I would pay good money to buy that book, I love the soundtrack too, by the way what is so special about Mona Lisa, I actually asked a friend that lives in France n she said it's really hard to get a picture

Really, I thought it was Jumong. Anyway I think it was because of the storyline and it appealed to alot of young people at that time...the storyline wasn't that common then you know the strong girl defending herself from a perfect rich boy in that kind of setting.

The way the story made LMH's character grow was amazing, he went from a handsome hot devil you hate to love, to a sweetheart you want to protect because you love him....mind you, you already loved him even when he was a dirt bag but you didn't want to admit it and then the story gives you a reason to openly love him.

His character was just everything, handsome, cute, stupid, lonely, loyal just name it and he did a great job with it.

The story though simple was captivating and I don't see any other actor who would have played it out like LMH did.

LSG never disappoints tho. I find it very difficult to watch drama after it aired now. All after aired dramas have seen lately is first 3 episodes and last 2/3 episodes. So it's better I watch it while it airs.

I have been following this thread since last year and I must admit that the comments here are nice and make interesting reading. I am also glad that I am finally here among people whom I can relate with and who can as well understand my craze and not look me funny as regards my love for K-drama and K-pop, because some of my friends are of the opinion that K-drama should be exclusive to women and any man that indulges in this hobby will become unaccountably soft like a woman, as Okonkwo of Things Fall Apart Would say. Lol. But I don't give in to their words because I don't care and the truth is, some of them are beginning to like the k-drama they so detest. Haha.

I have observed that the commenters in this haven are predominantly female and a keen mind would know why. It's no secret that women are suckers for romance, and with the way K-drama depict and portray their men as hopeless romantics, it's hardly suprising the women are unable to resist the force. I can see how passionate they are about the whole thing and it's really cute.

Well, I came to adore K-drama through my sisters, they introduced me to the art and pleasure of watching Korean films and I have become addicted to it.

Boys Before Flowers started this long journey which I don't see ending any soon. In my opinion this K-drama is arguably the best in the industry. Thanks to Lee Min Ho & the combined efforts of the rest cast, it was a success.

The storyline for BOF was intriguing, the settings were just perfect, had lots of lessons to be learned and most of the characters were likeable. In one word: it's enthralling. And the fact that it explored various themes like family, bravery, friendship, love, sacrifice, struggles, I could go on and on the list cannot be exhausted. And I cannot end this piece without mentioning the soundtracks. They added a rich flavour to the show. I actually love almost all the soundtracks in the show with the exception of Almost Paradise. Though my top 5 in order of preference are :
Do you know (which is the themesong for So Yi Jung and Ga Eul), Lucky, Because I'm Stupid (instrumental version), Stand By Me and one other song played in the scene where Jan Di & her family were selling ricecakes by the roadside. These five songs are ever on repeat in my playlist.

Asides BOF, there are other Korean shows I like but I can't start mentioning all of them. But I have seen all Lee MinHo(yes he's my favourite actor) shows and those of other great actors. Them dey try.

Let me end this by saying I have learned some Korean words and Phrases and the Korean language is sweet, beautiful and musical to the ears. Lol. And unlike Chinese peeps who seem like they are mumbling what sounds like incoherent incantations through their noses, Korean Language is not that difficult to learn especially if you listen closely.

That OST was overused to the point of annoyance! Funny thing is whenever it comes on while I'm listening to my Korean playlist I skip it immediately.....but I can't bring myself to delete the song.

lol since I stopped at episode 3 I wouldn't know if it was overused, but the song I skip but can't seem to delete is "love is the moment" from the heirs, I watched the heirs in 2 days so that song practically gave me a migraine and they played it in the sappiest scenes, infact it got to a point where I remove my earpiece whenever the song comes on, it's a good song tho n changmin's voice is heavenly but please I really don't feel the love or the moment

Hahaha another ost I totally disliked was one "I am run run run to you" or something like that, it was from angel eyes n I wanted to break my head whenever it came on, I didn't even bother to download the song there was something about the pronunciation of the English words plus the terrible grammar that just didn't sit well with me

Lol. I can completely relate with the scenario you just described. I have lots of music I no longer listen to in my playlist but I am caught up in a dilemma, unable to decide their fate.

From the very first time I listened to Almost Paradise I immediately developed a mild hatred for it that turned to full blown resentment with subsequent replays. You know, there are some music you have to listen to more than once before you catch the flow, but Almost Paradise is just terrible. I am still wondering why it was chosen as one of the main OSTs.

I just finished While you were sleeping yesterday and it was wow.... beautiful story, beautiful cast, beautiful ending.
There are so many beautiful moments in this drama: like when Woo Tak, took a pix of his and Hong Joo's shadow (so beaurifulll), I like the fact that Jae Chan was not this super genius hotshot prosecutor, he was slow, tardy, his IQ level was probably low, embarrassed me sometimes and for once the male lead was not as intelligent as the female lead (lurve it)
I also loved the ending where the people they have helped also helped others, like kindness is this unending cycle which just goes on and on.
All in all, this has become one of my favorite dramas. *sighs*

Has anyone watched/watching Strong woman Do Bong Soon? I swear, that writer no well at all, got my ribs cracking right from the fight episode. Park Bo-Young is not helping matters at all, with her tiny stature and tintini voice.

In my case, I didn't finish the Heirs but from the few episodes I watched, love was always the moment.


But to me, Moment is far more preferable to Almost Paradise. Paradise isn't a song, it's noise!
