Cyynthialove:Boycott is not the best answer.. That was even the second lesson I learnt. ... The election was boycotted quite alright, but the INEC officials helped in the rigging.. The numbers you saw were not really the true representation of the turnout.. But even at that, boycott is not the best answer. 1 Like |

gidgiddy:Boycotting of election is not the best option.. It is suicidal.. In the 2011 election, Anambra state gave Jonathan more that 1m votes. In 2015, it was far less than 400 thousand votes.. And Buhari won, and that was just that. Now, you want a repeat of 2015.?? Or you were thinking the Igbos really voted in the presidential election in 2015.?? It was boycotted.. They opened their shops and minded their businesses,, after-all, the candidates were all clueless.. And here we are.. We are all suffering it now.. And you guys are here talking about another boycott.?? |

tk4rd: Nigeria does not work as a nation, no matter who is power. Even if the president or Governor is from your village, you will still be in a Nigeria where nothing works and there is no progress. How the Hausa see Nigeria is not how the Igbo man sees the country nor how the Yoruba man sees it. We are all too different and all we have done since 1960 is to fight each other. We have had 57 years to test-drive Nigeria and it has been a disaster. Others we started off with such as indonasia, Singapore and Malaysia have all leaped far ahead of us, we are still at the stage of looking for who will give us water, light, good road and federal appointments. The only thing keeping Nigeria together is Oil. If it were not for it, this country would have broken up long ago. All the voting our parents and Grandparents did, where did it get them? Where is getting the present generation? No point. So anyone who wants to have control over their destiny and better their situation has to opt out of Nigeria and one way to emphasize that is to stop participating in the electoral process of Nigeria. Personally, I think that Igbos can do a far better job of managing and developing Igbo land if they get their own separate country. Nothing in Nigeria ever progresses 1 Like |

eduj:Low voters turn out due to disenfranchisement! A lot of people did not have voters card! Inec made sure they made life difficult for those coming to collect their voters card! Unlike in the northern parts where the same cards were bundled by inec to the palaces of the emirs for onward distribution to their people which could make every tom, dick, harry, camel and cow vote in those places! |

With regards to the card reader of a thing. I think u are wrong. I worked under polling unit 011. And in the same venue with 010. Some people whose card read 010 came to me from time to time to know where they fall in. And in some cases, once I put the card under the card reader, it will reject it and indicate that it is a wrong polling unit. |

Cyynthialove: With how much "IPOB is Igbo and Igbo is IPOB" to find that we are still almost on the same figure must be really disheartening to you. You threatened them. Told them if they vote you will boycott their businesses. If they vote your IPOB international members will stop sending them money. You even threatened their lives and put juju on polling centers. AND THE PEOPLE STILL CAME OUT TO.VOTE. Ndo D 1 Like |

tk4rd: 4% difference? That's all the threats could achieve? Anyway congratulations on your 4% boycott. So now that you have successfully encouraged 4% more of the population to boycott elections, Biafra must have been declared by now. Because I recall them telling you on your radio that "the world" is just waiting for you to boycott elections and they will grant you Biafra Una mumu nor dey do? 1 Like 1 Share |

gidgiddy:I keep asking again and again.. Will the practice of "not participating in the electoral process of Nigeria" opt the Igbos out of Nigeria.?? Are there no better ways of passing this message across.?? ... I want to know if the best way of passing a message across to someone who is oppressing you, is by staying indoors and waiting on him to notice you like as if he ever cared. 1 Like |

HiddenShadow:Think about what you just wrote above.. You mean you would sit at home, and the bad ones would go out there and vote in their mates.?? And yet, you would still be at home, and be waiting for the bad ones to vote the good ones in.?? If that is the case, then, prepare to wait till forever.. The Good ones will always suffer loss in all the elections, just because people like you were at home waiting for the bad ones to vote them in. ... Think about this again. Don't be brainwashed please. 1 Like 1 Share |

HiddenShadow:You know.. I consider things before doing.. Likewise some other people that saw no gain in the boycott and actually went out to vote.. IPOB should find another method of protest, and if it passes the message of the Igbo people to the wicked oppressors without giving these same oppressors more powers over them,, you will see an absolute 100% compliance.. .. When they announced that they wanted to arrest IPOB members, I laughed.. You know why.?? I laughed because I said to myself, "How would they know the IPOB people.?? Or are they going to arrest all the Igbo people". |

in 2013 it waS clear that Willie was going to win far before the election , in 2017, as at Friday 19 most political analyst were not sure of what the outcome of the election will be, the dynamics and narratives changed entirely. more candidates were presented, we had the very best from all works of life, men with the necessary business acumen to move anambra state forward, men with the intellectual sagacity, men who have proven themselves worthy in all works of life. we had a Willie that do not owe salary, an obaze with international diplomacy who proved his worth in the debate, an osita that excelled as FRCS commander and a Nwoye with the courage and determination, one will expect more voters than In 2013. but yet we had just 20% voters, the joke is on all of you who expected more voters than what was gotten, rather than coming in terms with the reality on ground you have all of a sudden begin to compare and contrast results of past election to console yourself . |
