Sorry about that though...I was told i would stay for 6 months and after 6 months i will have to come back to nigeria and renew my visa. think its called shirt termed student visa...I applied for Tier 4 in the first place though..

CAS issuance depends from school to school. Some we asked you to pay a bit of the fees before you are issued one, some don't. However, you are issued CAS within 90 days of school's resumption. So, when is the school resuming? Have you confirmed the school procedures to CAS issuance?

I submitted my Tier 4 application on priority on Monday, 13th November at Abuja TLS. I got an email from my school yesterday on the 14th November 2017 saying that their systems shows that my CAS has been used by the UKVI.

Please anyone gotten that kind of email from their school during visa application and how soon did you get your visa?

That’s so weird. I attended Anglia Ruskin and my CAS was issued days after my payment was confirmed. I can help you call the international student office if you want, I would have gone but I have a full time job and I get off at 5 but I can call them for you if you want.

To be honest, people do more than 20 hours but it is illegal and this thread preaches “legality”.

For someone just entering into a new city, you must not say such so that he does not end up thinking it will also be like that for him and it is even risky.

It worked out for your friends does not mean it will work that way for him. Trust me, I have lived here long enough and I know all the “runs” that is happening and still happens but you will never see me advicing such cos it is better they come to UK having the money with them than to think they will be able to do side or cash jobs and then get stranded if the jobs don’t come in.

If the side jobs or cash jobs comes in along the line, then good luck, but the advice should always be, come prepared with money.

Your prospective school had 12,600 as tuition yeah? Great.
Have you PERSONALLY sat down to estimate how much it will cost you?
Maintenance
Air fares
Visa fees
IHS
Etc....

After you sell the property you wish to sell; willthe amount you will realise be enough to pay for all the above?

I could afford to raise the school fee, the air fee and visa fee too ...but my agent said that they could work out something with my bank to reflect the maintenance fee..but i dont know if banks can actually help their clients even if i have to pay..

What kind of course do you want to study? And what is the profitability of that course?

I would have said why would you sell your property cos of UK masters but then I saw your other posts and then I know the real reason why you are going (I will still pretend I did not see that)

Well you are going for studies (this is what I will focus on). you still have from now till September 2018.....the money from your property can cover schoo fees right? try and get money to put in your account to show for maintenance fees, please make sure it is your own personal account or maybe parents account.

How do you get maintenance funds is the main issue:

Talk to family and friends, You may borrow money from family or friends and put in your own account for the mandatory 28 days and then another maybe 28 days for the visa processing. ( you have about 7-8 months from now to look everywhere for the money). The main thing is for the money to be in your OWN personal account.

I am naturally scared of anything called agents but I will be lying if I say I don’t know peope use them. If you must use them, let it be your last option, which is really really risky.

That money thing is really stupid. Since she earns a bit closer to the money needed, she could get any job that pays minimum wage and work part time, at least for the sake of the application. I mean it would be easier if you come as a tier 4 and get a PT job which takes the income over the 18600 rule and besides there are ways to get over the rule. You can have her email citizens advice, they might know what to do.

A 3rd party like family member can help regarding meeting the financial requirement, the rule was changed recently. Read up about sponsor visa financial requirement new rule
