Bruv in a situation like this you either go after what you want and shun your pride for a minute, or you let it slip past you.

First of all its obvious the girl is already partly interested, otherwise she would never play along and even reduce the number of retweets from 2k to 500. She did this coz she wanted him to actually win!

But of course she still has to maintain some aloofness to make the guy take her serious so she gave and she withdrew. Typical strategy women use. Think of it as going to visit your crush and she opens the door but frowns her face at the same time. (you cant blame women for doing this they are only protecting themselves).

Secondly, when you go after a girl on a platform like twitter, by default she will always be in control. Twitter does not give you much room to show yourself or make an impression, and this is a lady who gets at least 5 guys hitting on her per day. If you try to play any games, she will lose interest and you wont get what you want.

The only option the guy had was to do whatever he could to neutralize the environment by getting her to go on a date by any means necessary. Once on the date, he can then begin to assert his dominance.

if this guy has got a nice good ride, a good job and some cash to throw around and maybe good looking as well, a few minutes of ass licking from him on twitter wouldn't ruin his chances. it leaves him with a good chance of getting her.
