1) Don't conflate standing with Kanu to standing with Ndigbo. It feeds into the campaign of IPOB to belittle, denigrate, delegitimize and insult any Igbo man of good faith that does not support their cause or their repugnant hate-mongering tactics. Standing against IPOB doesn't mean you stand against Igbos.
2) Standing FIRMLY (by your own description) with someone and his cause despite misgivings about his tactics means the prime driver of your support is emotional rather than rational. This might be why IPOB will never have a coherent, workable strategy to accomplish anything beyond noise making and being general irritants.

We found ourselves in opposition when Buhari won the election, but rather thfuan look to work with the incumbent government as an opposition group and plot for 2019 and 2023, we ran stark, raving mad. Not even Niger-Delta and especially Ijaw people have been as traumatized to the level of madness as Ndigbo have been to Buhari's election.

If GEJ had been re-elected, we would not have seen IPOB miscreants disturbing the peace. Next time we find ourselves in an unfavorable political situation, maybe we should learn to play opposition politics like every other disadvantaged group rather than subjecting the country to the empty, noisy blackmail of the last year. Of course they'll remind me of the inyamiri that I am because many Inyamiris thought it wise to try to create anarchy and chaos and divide the country and many Inyamiris spent much of Buhari's administration belittling and insulting our "zoo" and other tribes that make up that zoo.
