He is charging high fees as if his workshop is in lekki, meanwhile he is located in very bad area in ifako ijaiye.

While everyone is entitled to his / her opinion, @ the bolded above; No automobile technician worth his salt, will use a machine sold for 25k as his major diagnostic machine. Your argument is a little flawed ma. Some of those machines cost close to 2 million naira exclusive of shipping, some others cost more. Of course there are toy scanners for 25k, but please don't ever mention them in same sentence with a technician's equipment. Thank you ma.

the price of brand new battery pack of a hybrid will completely buy and refurbish a 406. In fact, i will buy a 406, refurbish it, register it on uber and taxify and start driving and making money before you have even found where to buy the battery pack and who has the technical ability to fix it.

That said, i know who fixes hybrids. but...

Not true, hybrid battery modules can be replaced FOR AS LOW AS 15K. I'm an electrical engineer and I work on Hybrids. It's all ABOUT GETTING THE RIGHT PERSONNEL.

Oga Google is ur friend, the diagnosis machine I saw in GAZZUZZ work shop is sold for 25k (tokunbo)Then add a tokunbo laptop, then u will know how much it cost.

You guys should stop all this useless hype about GAZZUZZ, he is worst than Uber that collect 25%.

Come to magodo, I will show you a very good mechanic that scan range rover sports for 3k-5k.

Dont allow this people use English to fool you, after spending hours on the road, then you hand over everything to greedy GAZZUZZ.

Please is there any Uber or taxify partner or driver using the Hyundai Santa Fe 2005 Model, i am planning to buy one for Uber and taxify, the car is still very clean and in a perfect condition but i don't know what the fuel consumption is like and i don't know how rugged the car is for everyday Uber and Taxify movement.

Please i need advise urgently on this car before i make payment please.

Brand New Hybrid batteries can be gotten for 450K. HOWEVER WHEN AN HYBRID FAILS, THE WHOLE PACK DOES NOT HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE FAULTY MODULE CAN BE REPLACED FOR AS LOW AS 15K

In total agreement with you. If these so called hybrids were so terrible why are they the main cars you see Uber drivers use in Europe. Yes, agreed our roads are bad but if a Corolla can do it so can a Toyota Hybrid. I think the main issue is finding someone with the technical abilities. Alot of people talk so much crap here and it seems like if you don't use a Corolla or a Peugeot 407 then one is doomed. I have few cars on Uber and only one is a Corolla, the others are Hyundai Elantras which all out perform the so called Corolla

Where are the facts to back up your statement. My cousin uses this same car and indeed changed the said batteries, she did not spend anything close to the amount you just quoted.

UBER-average rating of your last 500 trips, a single poor rating(1) will drop ur rating drastically. Most riders on UBER rate low because they aren't happy with UBER and the drivers in Lagos the are embittered,harsh and see drivers as potential rude guys...
TAXIFY- average rating of ur last 40 trips... Riders are friendly, recently TAXIFY drivers have been cool and arrive ASAP, the drivers can tolerate because no cancellation fee....riders are very happy and calm.
HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR RATINGS
1. Call riders before they call u and address them politely and professionally
2. Announce your arrival and greet them with a friendly smile..
3.Male riders are easy to please but female riders are devils so act carefully they complain about everything and willing to rate u low because most of them know the implications so play smart. Be jovial with the female riders, they like friendly conversation especially the ones that sit beside u
4.Your car must be neat, A/c must be super cold
5.Have aux cable and extra charger, ask them if they need either of it
6.offer mints or gums... They love orbit
7. Take riders preferred route or drive thru shorter routes to avoid traffic... Riders want to get to destination asap
8. Give free WiFi
9. Drive carefully, professionally and drive fast
10.Don't argue with riders
11.apologize when they complain about anything
12.your dressing is important... DRESS WELL. Ladies like guys that dress well...
13.Engage them in friendly conversation...
