This is New Era....gone are those days Oba sits in his palace and Never leaves his shores. .but that can't bring effective development ...please Oba travel to England..Russia....Germany..Us..China...to attract more Development to your people. ..No suffering and smiling anymore.

The oba not leaving is palace is just a myth. Nobody can live a secluded life if he wields so much power as they claim.

I think the phrase "oba noh dey go transfer " meant that the oba can never be summoned by any govt official or anybody for that matter as against the erroneous thought that the oba can never leave his palace or domain for that matter.

I like the swag of the oba sha. He is pure royalty compared to others that contest to be king!!

They Rule,dominate,control,over Power,and Govern.
But It Seems Those Eras Are Gone.
Kingship These Days Are Just Titles And Honours. They Are Not Ruling, True!
Whom Are The Kings Now,are Our Governors And Presidents. Obas Are Just Sub-ordinate & Royalties,and Comply To The Governance Of The Country. They Dont Govern,Only Gain Respect,titles,homage And Honours.
It Didnt Happen In Egypt, Israel,is Not Happening In England. Original Kings Are The President,while Governors Are Their Sub-ordinate. These Days Its Useless. Am Still Not Sighting The Importance Of These Obas. True.

How can a king anointed by the gods to lead his traditional Indegenes bring himself so low as go for the money of a political beast?
