Yep correct increase So increase in internal friction lead to increase in pressure and decrease in volume |

DrBESTJC:Oppss! I can see why many people ignore this question, even the so called gurus. Pressure which is proportional to force/weight does not have effect on fluids ONLY AT TERMINAL VELOCITY. since pressure and viscousity work in tandem: viscousity may as well remain constant at terminal velocity. Let someone else explain, I've done my part. |

Hardebaryor:If you are a science student, this tip must definitely work for you as to how you read, comprehend and retain what you have upstairs for long. Develop passion for whatever you need to read. For biology, the study of plants and animals, you need to see yourself as higher animal, hence the need for you to know full details about every biological process taking place inside of you which makes you a MAN; while you are also expected to know what differentiates you from other mammals and lower animals. As a man, and a science student, you should endeavor to know why you can walk, see, reproduce, respire, feed, smell, excrete e.t.c. then you look at plants, what makes them useful? How does their structure affect their usefulness? If you are just passingby and you notice a plant with lanky and yellow appearance, what would you think might be the cause? All this you need to know offhand without cramming. For chemistry: the subject has to do mainly with certain rules and exceptions. Note that to every basic rules there's always an exception! For instance, all trioxonitrate(v) salts decompose on heating. But that of Na and K will only decompose to give free oxygen and dioxonitrate(iii) salts, while that of Fe, Zn, Ca, ,Mg, pb will decompose to give oxide of the metal, No2 and free oxygen. And that of Au, Hg, Ag will decompose to give free metal, free oxygen, and No2. Remember this basic rule and exception of a thing apply to gases as well. All these you must know without cramming. And lastly you must be able to balance chemical equations and also solve calculation by taking cognisance of the appropriate formulas. May I stop here for now. 3 Likes 1 Share |

DrBESTJC:viscosity increases with increasing pressure because when pressure increases volume decreases according to boyle's law making the molecules move less freely thus increasing internal friction consequently increased viscosity |

Drbabalola: I can say viscosity is also thickness of liquids, honey is more viscous than kerosene,so in context of temperature increase in temperature of honey will reduce it's thickness (viscosity), as so of kerosene, so we can say increase in temperature reduce the viscosity, but if we are taking of pressure p=FA either increasing force of the liquid or the area it contains does not affect the thickness of honey, putting honey from flask to cooler doesn't change its thickness(this of area it contains) or increasing the surface tension has no effect on honey(as of force) then if neither of force or Area which makes up pressure doesn't affect the thickness I'll say the increase in pressure will make viscosity remain constant. I rest my pen |

m happy with this Invisible teacher by dele ashade ..the textbook is really revealing the secret of English language ..since I started yesterday ..I have been correcting answers in series...some series answers are always wrong esp English language...but thank God for invisible teacher... |

psalmhorah:Lols! You mean scoring 90% in utme english? It's practically impossible, unless you want to be reading only use of english at the expense of other subjects. My brother, the more you understand the 'invisible teacher', the more confused you'll be when you get to utme hall; though your construction will improve significantly. Read the book normally, read your novels and newspapers as well to learn tactics of passing english exams. God bless you. |

psalmhorah: I beg everyone who is sitting for 2018 utme and is yet to buy invisible teacher to do so. look at this wonderful testimony above. 90% in Use of English is possible, there are people who had close to it. without invisible teacher, my score was 50+% in jamb, to increase my score, I studied invisible teacher, but didn't give it too much priority like other subjects, because English is too wide. Guess what? my score rises to 73% in Use of English. Since you all started early, I see 80+ in Use of English. |

The highest score I saw in a particular subject this year utme was 99% in physics by a guy. It left my mouth wide open. As for me, my highest was 93% in physics. Why am I saying all this, to make everyone increase their expectations. Pls do not believe you can't score certain marks. In facts , expect and work towards scoring 370, xo that at the end you will not score less than 320+. As for me, I worked towards scoring 348 and I ended up with 322. If I had worked towards 300 instead, I would av scored 280+. I am not a born genius, I am as ordinary as anyone here can be, but something made all this happen, DILIGENCE AND PERSEVERANCE. I didn't give in because I did't understand physics calculations. I keep pressing, consulting several materials including online questions and answers platforms like this. I am looking forward to seeing everyone with 300+ . 2 Likes |
