Do you beat this dog? And tell me, does he bark at you or anyone else? Does he growl showing his teeth? P.S your 10 weeks puppy man also be acting in fear. It's called fear aggression. |

I only correct him when he pop or urine on the wrong place but not like I use hammer of stick on him..just normal taping on the month after sniffing his nose on the pop or urine..And no he doesn't back at me not at all..and if it backs to stranger is normal backing and jumbing like he wants to attack the person if uncrain..and my other 10 weeks female rott is not scared at all just stubborn to the bone.. |

the thing I don't get is when that person comes closer to him he act scared like he is looking for where to hide..but I have start socializing him everyday at least planing to do it for a week or two so I can see the result afterwards...even plan to walk him through those dogs in the street that think they are the boss so I can see how that goes with him and them...Thank you bro.. |

willyroses:Firstly, one thing you must know about puppies is that all they have is "mouth". You must develop that mouth into something else. When your dog barks at a stranger, it's a good thing, don't let the stranger come close to him. What do you want him to do? Bite? He is intimated not scared. It's just like when we as human shout at someone and the person no send the person still come, there will be a change in our feeling. Same thing applies. Instead when he barks, hype the dog and remove him from the place. Pull the leash back forcing him to attempt to jump. He will bark further at the person until you take him away. This way, in his tiny mind, he feels he is boss and that stranger or you is afraid. Do it more often and overtime he will start growling. Walking him changes nothing. It would just make him more fun. Trust me. If you want a confident rott, then always ensure all he does is spoil something. Rott are suppose to be calm and confident not scared. I'm surprised |

Wen som1 comes on here about a timid dog, people would be saying isolate the dog from humans... now this is the result bro u have to socialize that dog to boost Iz confidence make him meet people so he would be comfortable around Dem not the touchy kind were everybody can rub his head take him on walks grow his confidence praise him Wen he does something nice and try training him like controlled aggression, dogs are supposed to protect without anger, your dog right now is nothing close to protecting you. socialize the lad bro dats his problem socialization is key |

willyroses:How long have you had him. Continue with your walks try to introduce him to new faces without forcing him into situations that would make him scared |

OP, try to socialize him with a dog that shows no fear, let them spend some time together..... Dogs also learn from each other |
