They chose to kill a man who set up and managed the only hospital in their area which has now been closed down (as shown on Channels). Good luck to them.

The British government has always been part of Nigeria's political problem since Independence. They even make it further complicated to be resolved by their selfish and parochial interest.

The United State of America ( USA ) especially during the time of President Bill Clinton and President Barack Obama helped in their own little way to diffuse the tension in the Niger delta region. The same thing goes with other European countries such as Switzerland who is cooperating with the federal government of Nigeria to send back looted funds.

But this is not the same with the British government. They think they are very clever. But it is now payback time for the British.

Take for example, the case of Mrs Deziani Allison Madueke, this lady is facing criminal charges of looting of public money most of them stashed in British Bank Account.

But the British government is complicating the repatriation processes just like the way they did in the second republic where they provided haven for Alhaji Umaru Dikko, the late federal transport minster during the regime of Alhaji Shehu Shagari.

The fact is that the British government do not want to release the huge Nigerian stolen funds that is in their UK treasury. The British government prefer to sit on top of stolen funds from African countries while other european countries like Switzerland, Austria, etc are prepared to release this money to help Africa 's struggling economy.

I sympatised with the family of this British missionary for this needless death. It is actually uncalled for as all human life is sacred and no man has the right to take the life of anybody even if that person is your enemy.

It is my hope and best wish to see the British government change from their hypocrisy and crafty way of life.

The man was a medical charity worker. He was an optician rendering free services to the poor. If that is not good work, I wonder what is.
