He is a good link-up striker, with aerial prowess. I hope you saw some of his recent misses? I wasn't surprised, unlike many chelsea fans though.

To provide competition for Morata and spearhead Chelsea's attack. Belotti has the aggression, reaction to make a wicked fox in the box. He might be rough like Suarez when he first entered Liverpool but with time in Chelsea he will be just as great.

Zappacosta had a good game yday in contrast to his previous game, same thing Bakayoko had a bad game yday in contrast to his previous game.

Bakayoko seemed tense and nervous atimes like he was carry a bomb, he seemed dull maybe due to Coach's instructions but i prefer his old self than this play it safe. Many pundits have lashed out on him, i pity the guy cause he's gonna face Conte.

I trust Conte to still help him develop cause that was the worst version of Bakayoko ever, expected better even after a wonderful game last week and a week rest.

Those of us that were privileged to watch him in the academy knew he was special. Those who saw him play RB on his debut for Chelsea knew we had found something.

The fact that he is able to mingle with the big boys of the league at 21 and most importantly, that you can hardly find a decision-mistake made, should announce all about him. This is not all surprising. The surprising thing yet again, is that he had to go out for us to see and believe what he is made of. The surprising thing is that for 3 seasons back-to-back, Chelsea nearly traded him in cash+player deals, for fellas that didn't know what they were doing at 21. Chelsea were yet again on the verge of another episode of mismanagement of talent.


Just like the way I am preaching the Gospel of RLC here every week. While my boy was getting a standing "ovay" performance against Liverpool, playing alongside footballing cretins but bullying the scouse midgets from box to box, DrinkBleach (like Ibime calls him) and Alfa were roaming all over the place yesterday not even understanding their fundamental midfield roles against this same Liverpool.

It's farcical to think both players cost Chelsea £75m, when they have a player, who alongside Kante could no worse, FOR FREE.

Which is why we were advocating for a loan for him to go and do what his fans had been claiming he could.

You are right about the general consensus on RLC's performance. I do not doubt that. What is infuriating is that £75m later and we are left with players who cannot claim to better than the guy who has gone out on loan. Bakayoko, apart from his obvious deficient technique (which I don't want go into now), can be seen strolling around in midfield off the ball - the same thing we criticized RLC about.

Not even better Defensively. He has only started 10 of 13 EPL games but has committed most fouls (25). All he does is concede dangerous free kicks defensively.
