What struck me in this report was the comment given by the former personal assistant on domestic violence. Please what were his job functions under his previous portfolio?

There is indeed a problem about Africans esp Nigeria and that's about our mindset!

30 Nigerians died yesterday and no one has made an inquiry to the cause of their death....not even a house of assembly member has asked for an inquiry.... simply because its not their brother or sister or mother!

And what about us esp on social media....we easily say RIP and move to the next day as if nothing happened!

Nigeria is a vastly religious country but have little or no value for human lives....both Christians and Muslims!
which is totally different from what God teaches!

But its a stack contrast when U visit developed countries with developed minds who value even a single human being as if the person was a cherished diamond!

An car accident took place at Manchester, england so many years ago and 3 people lost their lives....and the entire nation mourned as if 20 thousand people have been killed!

Even at that, inquiries were made just to ascertain the cause of the accident that led to the death of their people....What a country?
Am not saying the country is perfect or has everything under control but from deir policies and body language, it shows that they value the lives of their citizens!

here in Nigeria, just this year, herdsmen have been responsible for more killings than often blood thirsty boko haram....every day innocent men, women and children die not of their own making but because Nigeria runs a system whereby there is little or no value for a single soul!

The worse of all the hypocrisy is a president calling Egypt to sympathize with them over the bomb blast that occurred at their country while he keeps ignoreing what's going on in his own backyard!!

Funny enoff, religion has explained the hard part to us literaly that even as they burnt beyond recognition with so much pains and agony, the burning and agony will continue as far as u die as a sinner .

There's no mercy and that's sh*t scares the sh*t out of me
which yeye religion, the one the pastors and priests told u about, probably about how people burn in hellfire forver?? That's absolutely nonsense. There's nothing like that, if there's anything like that then u must also burn in that hellfire.

This is sad. They ought to have obtained samples from each corpse before embarking on the mass burial - for DNA or forensics. But this is Nigeria...

It's a sad thing.Nigeria is a failed state but the biggest failure is that her people love their condition. If a good person rises up to say NO it is fellow Nigerians that would remind you that you are not perfect and the devil they know is better than a million good angels knocking to help them. They choose the devil they know over angels that are not familiar. Fighting for the good of Nigeria now is a waste of time. The only hope for Nigeria is to shut her boarders for 30 years and re educate her people.

That was very wrong to have done. beyond recognition or not, the belong to people. It should have waited. called the bus company, found the manifesto and made calls than burying them like a farmer who had just lost a some of his livestocks

Well I don't know what to say to this.

I wonder how many accidents happen in England everyday yet I don't hear that England is perpetually in mourning over an accident. They would be mourning right about every other day.

There is a reason why England has that kind of system. Its because its people don't sit behind systems and smartphones just like I'm doing now and trade blames and tantrums and make stereotypical nags such as "Our mindset is slowly killing us"

Instead of that, they actually take steps like protest or go on strike....that type of thing.

So if you haven't done anything similar to that, then my friend you either read the posts and walk on by or add your own RIP and move on like the rest of the others are doing. At least we'll know that you are not nagging.

maybe u clearly didn't comprehend my opinion...I stated clearly that its time we speak up whether through strikes or protests or social media....
The more people talk about it on social media,on the streets,,the more people are aware that things can't keep continuing like this....and a revolution will be inevitable!

If ur idea of just typing rip and moving on is ur best solution then am sorry but nothing will ever change wit such mindset!
Let's stop this idea of being silent when bad things persist....

And yes, aside having a system in place at the uk,they are proactive people and not reactive like Nigerians!

Their citizens use the social media to protest or talk about national issues that affect deir society....but d reverse is d case here as most Nigerians use the social media to talk and argue about unnecessary stuffs like celebrities or personalities that have little or no benefit to the growth or advancement of the country....

hope u get my drift?
