I've never heard any good new or recommendations from people using glo. But the way its been advocated here seems it getting better.
Anyone in abule egba Lagos using glo? Ntel using serious again, their browsing speed has depreciated greatly since the last few months I don't mind changing. Any recommendations for this area?

I'm an I.T guy, there's nothing like getting tired of unlimited internet. LOOL! What does that even mean? So i rather have limited than unlimited? Where I'll be checking to know my data balance after every activity. I have ALOT of things to do with internet.

- Android SDK updates
- Android Studio updates
- XDA Developers ROM updates
- I never watch any movie below 720p. It must be at least x265 (x264 preferred but na condition). If the movie ain't 720p, I'll wait till its available. Most of my movies are 1080p.
- Windows Updates
- PC Games downloads/Online gaming
- PS4 Games downloads/updates. And system updates
- Mobile phone app updates
- TV shows updates daily
- YouTube Tech Channels streaming
- Tech launch live stream

Ideally, no limited plan less than 10K in Nigeria can actually do for all i need. If you ain't a tech guy, u might not really understand. Because even people that just love movies so much, the hardcore ones... even they will understand what unlimited net means.

On a final note, i think it's really sad that unlimited internet is a 'luxury' in this part of the world. It should be basic. But oh well!

After 4 hours of battle, since 5 AM; I finally stumbled on the Software Version & Web UI
posted by 4llerbuntu and i flashed them both.
Inserted my SWIFT SIM and funnily, I used to get only 2 bars maximum inside the house,
but right now even under the bed, its showing nothing less than 4 bars ...& 3 for ntel
and finally got rid of that irritating spectranet logo in the web ui

Glo Mifi. Their data isn’t enough for me these days. Exhausted 12.5gb in 5days. I was even miserly with the data was why it lasted that long.

My secret is. I use the 12.5 for daily browsing and little youtube streaming then weekends I subscribe for the weekend plan of 3gb for 500 for heavy downloads. It makes the data last longer.

If you haven't already, always look for x.265 encoded equivalents; that should cut down file sizes by as much as 2/3rds or more in some cases, compared to x.264 for example, for the same picture quality, in either mp4 or mkv containers.

I get most of mine from iptorrents, and I use a seedbox. I previously depended on Usenet, which is arguably still the grandfather of them all.

Hey chief! I use piratebay but it seems outdated these days. This your iptorrents, do I have to signup? I visited an iptorrents page where signup was required. Seedbox; is it an app?

Yes, you'll need to sign up on premium closed sites such as iptorrents. The signup itself is free. On rare occasions, such sites grant open signups to members of the public. At other times, you'd need an invitation to join. I suggest you research premium torrents to find ones that you can join.

A seedbox is a remote server/disc space you subscribe to and pay for. Primarily, it enables you to automatically and effortlessly give/seed back at least as much as you take/leech from a fast-moving community very quickly. It also enables you to free up your own computer, data, and time from the rigours of having to leave them on 24/7 to satisfy your obligations to a high-energy torrents group that demands that you must give back. As you've noted already, fully open sites such as TPB don't make such demands.

I suggest you also google: "What is a seedbox?" to learn more.
