I will do research about the transport drivers.
I quoted the aviation sector because I also work as a flight operations officer.

Nobody care about the aviation sector here, don't use it to make a point.

Hit the point with what drivers in America does to compare Nigeria.

@ iamspeedracer if u continue complaining in life, u will never succeed.
If u continue to wait for perfect system or government you will never get.

This world isn't a fair place. You have to keep fighting hard until u get to the top.

Good talk.

ON FUEL CONSUMPTION OF CARS:

DON'T BUY A CAR (FOREIGN USED/NIGERIAN USED), WITH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON (if it is, get it scanned/interpreted BY A QUALIFIED MECHANIC before you buy)

CHECK YOUR TIRES REGULARLY (GET A PERSONAL TIRE GAUGE/TIRE PUMP). DEFLATED TIRES CONTRIBUTE TO UNUSUAL FUEL CONSUMPTION.

Some quotes from a report in my custody:

"Many drivers ignore the O2 sensor because their car often seems like it’s driving just fine, but in reality it’s reducing your fuel economy and slowly doing more damage to your car"

"The Mass Air Flow is responsible for metering the air coming into your car’s engine and determining how much fuel to inject into the engine. When malfunctioning, it can lower fuel economy by 10% to 25%"

Its not just about buying A COROLLA OR PEUGEOT (you can always check fueleconomy.gov to know fuel consumption of a car, although AVAILABILITY/AFFORDABILITY OF PARTS is also important):

BUY a good car (preferably without a check engine light on). IT WILL BE QUITE DIFFICULT TO FIND A NIGERIAN USED CAR WITHOUT THE CEL ON BECAUSE MOST NIGERIAN MECHANICS DO NOT HANDLE MAINTENANCE PROPERLY.

Take care of your tires properly (ensure they are properly inflated always). DEFLATED TIRES AFFECT FUEL ECONOMY (ROLLING RESISTANCE INCREASES, DIFFICULT TO BRAKE ETC.)

If the Check Engine Light (CEL) ever comes on, GET YOU CAR SCANNED/INTERPRETED BY A KNOWLEDGEABLE MECHANIC and rectify the problem.

Some people have complained about HIGH CHARGES BY SOME MECHANICS ON THIS FORUM. PLEASE NOTE, GOOD AUTO MECHANIC SERVICE IS NOT CHEAP (EVEN IN THE USA)!!! IF ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS FINDING CHEAP MECHANIC SERVICE, YOU MAY BE FAR FROM GETTING A RIGHT ONE.

I spoke to an Uber driver in London and he claimed they can work as many hours as they choose, I however cannot confirm this, truck drivers on the other hand can only drive a certain amount of hours. A Tachograph is used to manage such hours

There is basically no difference between them Cus they make use of same engine.
Go for the corolla, it is more spacious compared to the hatch back matrix.
