Assist in analyzing and monitoring financial and operational performance.
Assist with monthly closes and coordinate with Accounting to ensure accurate financial results and reporting
Identify trends and issues and address problems to ensure quality financial results
Assist in corporate finance and business development work. Perform quantitative analyses to help evaluate and implement strategic options.
Assist in developing KPIs and new measurements and metrics to assess business performance. Track them.
Assist in driving financial considerations in decision-making framework to improve business profitability and capital efficiency
Prepare presentations for management and participate in ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements
BA/BS required; major in Accounting, Finance, or Business/Economics preferred
0 - 1 year minimum experience in investment banking or corporate finance
Must be data-driven and take initiative in developing new measurements and metrics
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while working as part of an inter-departmental team in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

Job Title: Sales Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Job Description
This role will focus on business opportunities within the Oil & Gas industry which are relevant to NMT’s product & service scope, with a view to growing sales revenue from that sector.
The ideal candidate will have a very good understanding of the Oil & Gas sector
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
Develop strategies and deliver excellent sales and after sales service to maximize sales turnover, customer satisfaction and retention.
Maintain regular, planned communication with key customers in Oil & Gas.
Make direct, in-person sales calls.
Respond promptly and thoroughly to customers’ inquiries.
Initiate and develop contact with key and target customers in Oil & Gas to establish strong relationships.
Manage direct sales channels for NMT products and services.
Achieve sales objectives, including bookings and growth.
Stay engaged and informed about customers’ key projects.
Demonstrate good understanding of the needs and wants of the customer and NMT in order to establish win-win relationships.
Utilize knowledge of competitors’ strengths and weaknesses to leverage the value of NMT’s products and services.
Maintain organized records.
Prepare regular reports as required regarding customer contacts, quotes etc.
Possess a customer-first-attitude that permeates the organization.
Be the advocate for the customer within NMT, collaborating with internal stake holders within NMT to ensure that we are meeting the customers’ needs, Proactively forecast our market sales, growth and profit in the Oil & Gas sector
Resolve issues and conflicts with customers where required.

Educational/Professional Qualifications
Minimum of first degree or HND in Engineering with 10 years industrial sales experience with a track record of self-initiated sales successes.
Experience in sales within Oil & Gas industry will be appreciated
Knowledge/ Skills and Personal Qualities:
Must be able to communicate with positive impact.
Project a strong customer focus.
Ability to develop customer base and generate sales
Strong negotiating, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Good planning ability and time management skills to handle a high level of sales activity - including a full schedule of outside sales calls coupled with numerous follow up requirements.
Must have good computer skills and be able to use available technologies to manage daily activities.

Hi Chyima, workforce recruitment can take shape in the two forms you mentioned. Just like dragnet, they sometimes are contracted to handle the first stage of a company's recruitment exercise - Assessment. In such cases, they send qualified candidates invites for test, could be online, as was the case with their graduate trainee recruitment of 2015 for Sterling Bank or offline.

After the assessments, they forward the results to the contractor and the contractor takes it up from there with interviews and final selection. If you're successful in this arrangement, you are not under Workforce Solution's purview, your employer is the contractor.

However, there are some roles in an organization that employers prefer outsourcing staff to handle because of the cost implication. Notable examples are janitors, receptionists, office assistants etc. sometimes sales and customer service rep. If you're an outsourced staff, your employer is the outsourcing company, your letter of employment comes from them and your pay too is from them.

The invite I see here looks like one workforce is to provide their client with an experienced customer service personnel which is not bad. If you just graduated, I'll advice you attend the interview and possibly take the job. It will prepare you for the next big role. I've seen a couple of contract staff being converted. It happens. Some after a while leave for something bigger and better elsewhere. I encourage you to attend bearing in mind that it is for a short term.
