While peter obi was predicted to be the king maker, he failed wolfly so i predict okorocha and obiano. Obiano hws taken the center stage in the nigeria's politics to the supprise of every body and he is also the owner and solo deceision maker of apga and he has vawed to win more states for apga.

I really weep when I see you comments and posts here. We live in a world where serious nations are talking about robotics (artificial intelligence), Fintech (digital currencies), Hypeerloop (fast transportation) space tourism, renewable energies but you check the news here and you see headline like "Buhari orders Governors to pay salaries".

If you think an Igbo president will change anything, then you are very myopic and tell people to vote in Buhari in 2019 after fulfilling non of his campaign promises is an insult to our collective intelligence.

What we need is restructuring. let each region pursue its own future. we are running short of time.

You are disgracing the Igbo Nation with your senseless begging.
Majority of Igbos will rather go for restructuring than your stupid presidency.
A vote for Atiku is a vote for restructuring.
Beggar-in-Chief.

The joker in Nigerian politics is Middle Belt. Win Middle Belt and you will win the Presidency. The SW gave a marginal vote of 500000 to APC while Anambra alone gave PDP over 600000 votes.

When SW backed Atiku in 2007, did he win? NO! When SW backed Ribadu, did he win? NO! When the entire SW was mobilized for Buhari, how many votes did they gave him? a marginal 500000 votes.

Tinubu or no Tinubu, SW can't give APC more than 600000 votes, which Anambra alone if fully mobilized for election can guarantee to PDP.

Politicians scout SW because of their propagandist machineries not voting power. If you need to be projected, you need SW Media. Not that SW owns the media, but all media houses are concentrated there.

Atiku himself is an Institution, which a very powerful Media centre ably led by an able Igbo man, Ibe. Don't forget also the Head of Presidential Media Team, Garba Shehu is Atiku very loyal boy, former Director, Atiku Media Office, head of Atiku Media Team.

If you believe Bindow will not join PDP next year, then you are not a Nigerian.

Like it or hate it, we are Atikulating. Middle Belt are Atikulating as well, NE will Atikulate also.

Tinubu is more sensitive to issues like this than we sometimes give him credit for. This is someone that abandoned his Vice Presidency ambition because he saw that a Muslim-Muslim ticket may create disafection among Christians.

That is one reason he may not want to run with Atiku. In 2023, unless he decides to run with a Northern Christian, he may say "Let the Igbos run".
People dont understand Tinubu.

I can bet it that he will support Igbo presidency in 2023 if he has not died!

I personally Will vote Igbo president then if i'm still living and he will spend good 8 years!

i prefer a sure 2019 Igbo vp than an imaginary 2023 presidential ticket. What would happen then if in 2023 buhari nominates to handover to tinubu? After igbos fooled themselves and voted him in 2019? What will happen when he goes against his words as he has done in the past?
Igbos are better served by remaining in pdp and fighting Apc tooth and nail till its defeated. Even if it takes 16 years.
Intelligent. Very intelligent.

You have miscalculated wrongly my friend. The divisive and "we alone" kind of politics played in the East cannot and will not make you transform PDP into a National behemoth like Tinubu did with ACN, note that even when the ACN was a tsunami in the South/West it never really controlled all the States, something Okorocha warned the East about during the last election (although the PDP is already a National party, but see how it has now become a local player because the East controlled the machinery).

The East doesn't have a politician that can bring everyone together at the moment. None of the "good" past leaders have been given their respect to allow this. Yes, the APC might be the guarantee of an Ibo presidency (I agree with you though that it is politics and anything can happen, but definitely not a Tinubu presidency) but that an Ibo controlled PDP ousting APC is definitely a long shot. As you pointed out again - maybe in that 16 year span the East would have learned to put an handshake across the Niger. Like Yoruba will say - "Enikan ki je awade", meaning "One Man can't arrive and say we have come".

I will vote an Ibo presidency in 2019, it's only fair the rest of the country rallies around this. But if the East will choose to bury her head in the sand and not present me with a candidate I can support, my vote obviously will then be a case of the desired is not available.

Let's reason this way, all of the SouthEast do not need to be for Buhari/APC come 2019 (2 or 3 states is enough) but for strategic reasons and to strengthen the hands of the SouthEast.

First of all, we are Igbo not Ibo.
Secondly its infact the sw that has played divisive politics and 'we alone politics' in Nigeria.
In 1999 when the rest of the country went with pdp, u guys went alone to AD.
In 2007 when the rest of the country went with yaradua of pdp, u guys went alone with Atiku of ACN.
In 2011 when majority of the country went with pdp and GEJ, u guys went with Ribadu of Acn

Now lets talk of the politics of 2015, the first time se and ss stood alone. Does it not make sense to u up till now that Igbos did the right thing by standing by GEJ till the end? A man who carried Igbos along? In what other way can u repay him other than voting to reelect him? Now the north gave buhari 97% of their votes but that wasnt divisive politics. It is the Igbos that gave gej 95% of their votes that plays divisive politics?

The APC has able Igbo members e.g Sullivan chime, Ken Nnamani, Rochas, orji uzor kalu and even buhari's current igbo ministers. If APC wants Igbo presidency, let them give it to one of these igbo sons. We dont need to vote them in 2019 before they can do this. The north west did not vote OBJ in 2003, still he gave them presidency in 2007.
Igbos will stand against Buhari again in 2019. If he wins, good for him.... he can do his worst after election. Igbos will still survive post Buhari

For the country to give Igbos the presidency, Igbos need to be able to truthfuly say this next sentence: 'Every other power bloc has completed their turn except Igbos who have not even tasted the presidency.' The only way they can truthfuly say it in 2023 is if Buhari (North) is completing his tenure in that year. That is why Igbos should vote Buhari in 2019.
