SmartchoiceNGR: You are either dumb, challenged or outrighly playing a fool. Kindly shove your impressions down the below. You may have to scroll back and read my post where i stated that if i do hot get back my MARKET intact, will not do any refund and i did it because i got my MARKET back intact. Your stupid rantings altered nothing, i have my laid down principles of transcations as a businessman and i stick to it. 13 Likes |

luvinhubby, is the apparent communication deficit between you and your customers okay? You haven't said anything in this regard and that is the summary of this whole thread. You have principles, good, but does this principle make you ignore calls and messages? Please make amends. You may consider employing an assistant if you are too busy. A customer lost today, another lost tomorrow. This is bad for business. 6 Likes |

I do not wish to comment on this thread but have been curiously following up from page one. Am not a fan of any body here but what needs to be done needs to be done right cos if other wise bankruptcy would be the order of the day. Am an automobile engineer and have personally done business with "luvinhubby". I had an issue with a gearbox I bought in transiting from gear 1 to 2. I had to pull out the gearbox again. Any one on the field knows what this means I called luvinhubby and immediately without seeing the old gearbox he ordered the logistics guy to bring in another gearbox . "May his soul rest in perfect peace". This new gearbox acted same way but i couldn't return it cos we couldn't have two gear boxes acting same way. We looked further and we solved the problem. Now to the story. Schedules for the festive period are always tight. A reason why he might not just be responsive enough. No defense on this am an engineer sometimes I do not pick up my calls. The two do not go together. Point 2: manner of approach really matters a lot. I could remember there was a time luvinhubby with the softest of tones told be to pay his dispatch rider though he was meant to but the approach over the phone did the magic. This man has his business policies and I can confirm with you many businesses have collapsed as a result of this particular scene (not seeing your part and making a refund. Even the westerners don't do business like that. Have personally bought things from the US and didn't work and I was told immediately I couldn't get a refund. Part was shipped back to the US by me and nothing was either changed or no funds returned.part still lies on my store currently as I type. No need to praise the whites like someone did on this thread. Am glad the issue has been resolved. Peace 12 Likes 1 Share |

.....I took out time to read all the comments from page one. The auto parts guy(luvinhubby) comes across as one who is very arrogant and insensitive. One can easily deduce from you attitude here, that you lack integrity. The fact that you have thousands of customers should not give you the impetus to treat your customers with so much disrespect. You threw all caution to the wind just because you had been paid. Yet you were blabbing about having business principles. Are those so called "principles meant to be at the detriment of your customers? Rubbish! ......See as the thing the pain me sef! ....For your information, Business ethics or principles. If you will, are not STATIC but rather AMENABLE to suit individual situations and clients needs. If the likes of Toyota, Honda, Mercedes, etc are still advertising and looking to open new markets, I see no reason for your brash attitude just because you own a shop in Lagos. I was particularly disgusted with your refusal to offer a mere apology to the Op as any smart and astute business man would in the circumstances. albeit after several entreaties by other loyal customers. You are a very annoying person that people should avoid...... 'Busy' my Nyansh...... Even Dangote de pick calls. Continue forming, we don see your type many.... The funny thing is that, this thread has opened my eyes to take note of your moniker. I make bold to say, you should not be trusted. If you cannot handle business on this scale and give optimum satisfaction to your clients then I'm sorry, you are plain INCOMPETENT. We are so used to being treated badly in this country that we take most things for granted. I'm ranting because I believe that injustice anywhere, is Injustice everywhere. Who knows? It may be my turn tomorrow. Having said that....@ SmartchoiceNGR I am very proud of you for standing for the truth despite the intimidation by many here. You fought for justice and stood against mediocrity and nonchalance. You are somebody I will like to know in person.... @ kufie, you displayed exemplary patience and understanding. 'na man u be' most people can't endure seeing their 1kobo in another's possession but will be here spewing rubbish. Pls run from online transactions, most Nigerians are very insincere. (sorry to the genuine ones) @ luxy44 who adviced luvinhubby to deduct 5k before refund, hear this: You are a ROGUE, and a very fraudulent and insincere person. You will never end well..... Finally, I feel relieved to have gotten this off my chest. I will sleep better tonight....#peaceout! 12 Likes |

luvinhubby:dude. Refund the money. I am sure u know the compressor was bad before u sold it. Car AC compressor for 25k. Never seen nor heard...... And u that decided to buy compressor online that had to be sent from Lagos to Uyo, wetin dey do u self? No compressors in the whole of Uyo?, or the bait of 25k price was too sweet to ignore? luvinhubby:Trust me, I read every single comment from page 0-3. I'm not one to mince words. I dish them as I see them. My deductions and inferences are based solely on this SINGLE TRANSACTION your responses here to the OP leaves much to the imagination of every reader. You may have been up and doing in several other deals, but you see! In business there's no room for complacency. As one of the posters earlier said, "a single stain is enough to soil a white garment".... I may come across as being a bit harsh and unfair or "Jaundiced" in my opinion as you pointed out. But as I believe you know and will agree, "The customer is King".... Oga! If I were you, I will stand down and be humbled by this experience and people's views. Take the positives, learn some lessons and move on! (we no de know finish) No Basket for rotten Mango! That said, if I was hasty in my Judgement, then accept my unreserved apology. You see! That wasn't so hard to do. Or was it....LOL Yes! U've refunded the money. We know. But smoothen your relationship with the OP......A total stranger who trusted you enough to do business with you even without meeting you in person. In my opinion, a simple apology will not kill you! Think about it Bro! More Grace to you in your future endeavours! ..... 8 Likes |

Took my time to read through the whole thread, both allegations and responses and my summary is as follows. 1, There was a transcation, the seller fulfilled his side of the bargain, the purchaser apparently patronises cheap and poorly trained technician (bane of our automotive industry), clearly read where the seller, mr. Luvinhubby said the first item returned had no issue and was installed in another vehicle. 2, The first reason that led to the first return most likely led to the second return which prompted the buyer to ask for a refund(well within his rights). 3, The need for a refund led to calls by the buyer which was not answered nor returned by luvinhubby(obvious failure in communication) but the buyer equally acknowledged an exchange in chats which ought to have bridged that. 4, The buyer clearly exhibited a very high sense of impatience since things sent from Uyo to Lagos takes an average of 24 - 48hrs to get to Lagos(am involved in logistics) and weekends are skeletal days of operations for companies, so the earliest he would have expected a refund was 1 week after, being today. Summary, my commendation goes to Luvinhubby for sticking to basic business principles in our clime, the absence of which had led to the death of thousands of business in Nigeria, his intergrity is still 100% intact to me and will advice the buyer and original poster to learn the principle of patience as a core value in business since no aggreed ultimatum was breached. Luvinhubby has this for me. 10 Likes |
