What I dislike is the way everybody came in condemning your post without giving alternative suggestions or to state what is actually wrong with your figures. Some were even outrightly sarcastic. Kí ló de?

It was the expenses i recorded for a similar size of plot i fenced in the north i posted.
I even had to dig up my archive to bring it out because no one attented to person i quoted.
I was suprised close to 5 persons were trying so hard to defame my post within a space of 2hrs when not even one attended to the person i quoted for close to three days before i quoted that person.

Anything i post here is what i know is realistic in some part of the nation, if someone want to build a skyscrapper i won't post anything because i haven't executed such. But for those projects i have executed, i see no bad in sharing the little i know.

& i remember clearly stating the figures are subject to change depending on location

Hi guys, I have an ongoing project in Benin but I was supplied the electrician I contracted does not know about the installation of lightening arrestor in fact he is talking me out of it.
I got a guy who said he would bury the copper tape from the arrestor together with the earthing cable 6mm from the DB. Please I don't know if am getting this right. Some info on lightening arrestor installation will be appreciated. Thanks

So someone asked a specific question w.r.t to specific names and none responded after 3 days and just because another responded and all the drama started.
If they even have the mind let them post here any of the quotes they gave to their clients on any recent work done and let others scrutinise it.
Amongst themselves they know what they are doing. I have at least gone through most of their online posted works and funny enough, those who know what they are doing are doing good and those who think they are doing JB work and using engineering terms to back it up for just no good reason just to impress their clients are only out to waste the client's money.

Let the lightening arrestor copper tape be separated from the building earthing. Make sure he use original copper earth rod for the earthing as well.

First I would say thank you for all the write ups . Do you have an idea of rough estimate for electrical wiring of a four 3 bedroom flat and a four one be flat. Just cost of wires and pipes excluding distribution board.
