How old was iker casillas when he made his debut for Real Madrid?

I wouldn’t be saying that if the young man was already established. He is 18, only kept for the under 23 side of his team. He is not even considered good enough for the first team. Which tier is his team playing in? What’s their position in the league? The only reason he was even mentioned was because his dad is Nigerian and he is a goalkeeper (untested) in the bundesliga 2. Isn’t that desperate and risky?

He insulted the NFF and Mikel obi,i guess they are punishing him for that.

That is what l am saying!.

Let us assume it is true he insulted the NFF and Mikel Slowbie
. (Some will argue that he was only asking for what actually belongs to the players, being the Captain and it is actually the NFF officials who steal player's allowance that should apologise to the team, we all know what happens with Money, in Nigeria grin ).

If he insulted these set of people, the proper thing is to give him the Option to apologise NOW NOW and l think in the National Interest, every person should be able to swallow their EGO and do whatever is necessary to move the Nation forward.

Shutting him out and going al over the globe to look for an uncapped, non-firsteam-action Goalkepper who did not even play at all in the Qualifiers, is a disaster waiting to happen.
The World Cup is not where you TEST players, those are done at the qualifying rounds.

Let them sort out the apology thing, we are not interested in who is right or wrong for now, we just want THE BEST to represent the Country and Enyeama, as far as l know, is beter than any Nigerian Goal Keeper, by Miles.

If anyone is better than Enyeama, then they deserve the #1 shirt.

But we all know that right now, Vincent Enyeama is our Patrick Okala, Ogedengbe and Peter Rufai all rolled into one.

What is the beef they have with Enyeama is what l dont get.

Is it jealousy, Ego problem or just hatred?
Sort the differences out and let him resume in Camp.

Coach Rohr knows that if this were to be the German National team, only THE BEST will be called Up and not based on sentiments like ego or clash of ego with Slowbie.
Why not in Nigeria?
All the WC Enyeama have been to as a first choice goal-keeper, have we gone past the group stage?

Abeg, make we hear word.
Enyeama, enyeama as if he is the new Buffon. angry

You dont need to insult me, just to pass your miserable point across, it shows poor Up-bringing!
Lets just discuss without insults or are you another 14yr old with free internet access on a techno phone?

Back to the topic:

Question is: Is any of those KEEPER BETTER THAN Vincent Enyeama?

If the answer is YES, then they deserve the #1 Shirt.

If the Answer is 'NO' then Enyeama deserves to be recalled.

Vincent Enyeama is a PROVEN GOALKEEPER, many times over, both for Club and Country.
Every country takes THEIR BEST, to the World Cup.

That is all l am saying.

BTW: How would Enyeama bring "bad blood" in the Team?
A professional should not and is not concerned about his/her "Personal Emotions".
When you are representing the National team, you put in your best and if you have to 'kiss your worst enemy" to do so, you just Kiss and go ahead to get the job done. undecided undecided
It's the same bad attitude with Vincent. He did the same to Siasia. The man is good but would cause division in the team and seeing him after we qualified for the World Cup is bad. The senior players would feel somehow. We needed him during the qualifiers but he snubbed us. Assuming we didn't qualify for the FIFA tourney, would you talk about bringing him back? Think twice.

We need players who are fully committed to go very far at the World Cup.

I know, but Nigeria never does the right thing,so I guess we have to start combing Europe for foreign keepers.

Great news.

When we choose to use Merit in our affairs, Nigeria does well.
If only it could be so in politics and leadership

Where is the merit in this decision?

This kid hasn't played a game yet.

I'm all for sourcing the best available players but this guy is completely untried.

The young man isn’t ripe for the Eagles.

At 18, and not even the first choice keeper for his bundesliga 2 side. I think he is not ready for the big stage. If he is passionate about playing for Nigeria, he should come to the Flying Eagles camp and prove himself.

We should be careful of relegating our local league and giving so much privileges to European players of Nigerian descent. Playing for some unknown team in Europe should automatically qualify one to be invited to the Eagles camp.
. Dude, let the guy come and have a trial. At the very least he deserves it. U can't judge until u see him perform for us. If they like, let all the 23players be foreign based or half cast,I don't care as far as they give good results. Uzoho is still 19 too, don't forget that. Weren't u impressed with his outing against Argentina? Look at Tyrone and the rest. We should be more concerned with the performance of the team and not whether they play here or abroad. If they like, let them even bring albinos,as far as the guys perform well,I'm okay. Rohr has almost never been wrong. Let him continue. I just hope Ikeme gets fit again cos we really need a good GK.

Well, you are right so, let us FLIP this your arguement:

1.) Is it not possible that if not for the contribution of Enyeama in the goal post (with his goal-saving skills), maybe we wont even qualify for those World Cup.

2.) Maybe if we take Enyeama along this time, maybe we would get past where we would have ended, maybe his skills will take us even to the final, this time around?

A lot of "Ifs".

But the bottom line is "every country takes their BEST to the World Cup Competition".
Unless yo are saying this guy or any of our current Keepers are BETTER than Enyeama?

I am sure you wont dare to say that. undecided undecided

I am not against sourcing for players anywhere in the world, whether they are Oyinbo or dark like a Horse, does not matter.
Whether they speak funny accent or speak with a dep roar, does not count, ....

What COUNTS is that "THEY MUST BE THE BEST WE CAN PRODUCE AT THAT POINT".

Except someone can show me a Nigerian Keeper that is CURRENTLY BETTER than Vincent Enyeama, l think Enyeama deserves a Call-UP.
We should give equal opportunity to our very Best, if they fail then that is their problem.

Rohr should recall Vincent Enyeama NOW, NOW.

Let the 18yr old German Keeper come and compete for a Shirt with Enyeama and the rest.
No problemo

Unfortunately, Vincent would not be recalled. Leave the coach to do his job. He knew what he wants. Qualifying from the group of death is not easy.

He is doing very well.

I have no problem with Enyeama as a Goal-keeper. I actually want him at the WC because with this crop of goal keepers , Nigeria will not go far.

My problem is with his attitude. Sometimes, it is better to roll with a lesser talent but with a better attitude.

I would agree with you to some exteñt but I think Rohr is looking for a back up besides he didn't say this young lad is going to be the number one. We still trying g to fix our goalkeeping area. If the young man proves himself then include him if he messes up, throw him out.
