edi287:I don't Nacho ever said with his mouth that he was waiting for a passport, I believe a reporter just made a guess. Leicester City sucked especially at the back and Musa could not have been blamed for that. He might have been underwhelming but so was Jamie Vardy and anybody not named Ndidi. |

BascoVanVeli:I think those reports were based on sources from his camp. Musa wasn't helped by Gray having bright cameos whenever he came on. I thought Musa and Vardy would've made a good striking partnership but oh well...let him move to Hull and play under his old coach at CSKA |

tbaba1234:Not really in support of Martin's recall buti disagreed with you using his performance under Keshi as a point to deny him invitation now. Did you remember Joel Obi we are clamouring for was awful when Keshi gave him the opportunity prior to 2014 WC,meaning he should be denied the opportunity again based on his performance under Keshi. On Maduka Okoye, truly we are searching for option in GK but not a keeper keeping for Fortuna Dusseldorf team B.I don't see him as our WC options unless is extremely talented. If Okoye is good for Eagles why is Deji Brethurer of Franfurt not good for Eagles cos it was on this thread some are saying he is too young but now Okoye is good for Eagles. My kicking against Martins and the likes was just based on the unity of the team,i don't want any player that would derail the unity of the team. |

Kog45:why isn't anyone calling up Dessers as well? I'm starting to believe that the best way to make it into this team is to not declare for Nigeria. |

safarigirl:Yes,apart from Dessers we have Kenneth Otigba who is ready to play for Nigeria but no call, also Deji declared his readiness but we are pursuing average Kevin Akpoguma who is not ready. |

mazimee:Good for him but i don't see him displacing Enyimba first choice just like he failed to displace Akpeyi at heartland,Ebere Obi at Ranger, the same thing at Ifeanyi Uba last season, meaning Ezenwa must have a strong backing of unknown forces making him always available for Eagles call.Oga o. |

World Cup Draw : Rising European Powerhouse Belgium Want To Avoid Nigeria Published: December 01, 2017 Ahead of the 2018 World Cup draw in the Russian capital, some former members of the Belgian national team and coaches want to avoid facing Nigeria in the group stage. The Belgium squad boasts some of the biggest stars in the English Premier League : Chelsea trio Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard and Michy Batshuayi, Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini and Romelu Lukaku and Liverpool's Simon Mignolet. ''I’m going to take Iran out of pot three, I choose Panama from pot 4. Serbia, Nigeria, Australia, ... many of their players are already playing abroad, so let us go for Panama, all I know about that is that there is a way, '' Aimé Anthuenis, who coached Belgium 2002-2005, told hln |

Humility017:you may want to check Martins stats again. You may also want to check the meaning of 'talking with two sides of your mouth' so you won't use it in a wrong situation next time. Now get this fact slowly, when it comes to goals per game ratio Martins wasn't bad, after 40+ games he still had a goal every 3games. I cannot dig up his goals after 14games but I am sure he had atleast 4-6 goals by then. Martins is not some demigod, but saying that because he scores in the Chinese league that Iheanacho and Kayode will come there and become the highest goalscorer is a pure lie. Oscar is there, Hulk too and a lot of other guys but why arent they highest goalscorers? You think the league is like that? Let me ask you a question, so because no team from the Italian league has won the UCL(appeared in the club world cup that is) that means the Serie A is whack? I don't understand |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Mickael2(m): 11:24am On Dec 01, 2017 |
safarigirl:Nigerians...smh. Get a new toy and tag the old toy 'junk'. So Martins has never scored from outside the box? So he hasn't scored headers? This alone shows that it is pure bias that is fueling your motive. By the way nobody said 'drop Iheanacho for Martins', no, we said invite Martins let him come and show what he can do. Why are you so scared of that? Or deep within you you know he can displace your favourite player? |

TheGoodJoe:how is Okazaki a club legend? Last I checked at the start of their title winning season Ulloa was actually the starter and he displaced him, there is no way Okazaki is a club legend and quite frankly if you can't displace Okazaki then I am not sure we should be screaming your name. Now you kept on giving unrelated instances, in Nacho's case even the coach who bought him still kept him on the bench and even preferred Slimani to him. I am not saying Iheanacho is not a good player but the sooner we understand that Iheanacho is not going to be the first Nigerian to play for Real Madrid the better for us, then we can all come to agree that he is not the next best thing after slice bread |

edi287:There won't be much changes to this present team, believe that. As I cab see us pushing a lot of players for the qualifiers. This same team, would be thesame team playing the Afcon Qualifiers. Except maybe for injuries and perhaps drastic loss of form. |
