Am doing that now. God first. I will never take anything Pastors say serious except I see it from the scripture. If they can deceive me and still have the mind to ignore me despite my message to them and visits, then they shouldn't be taken serious.

Pastors should also learn to respect our decisions and never judge our giving with tithe cards. Let God be the judge. They should also not stop us from saying the truth according to the scripture. If they have something better to dispute our facts scriptural wise, they should use it. The word of is life, they should use it. For now, threats and curses is all they have got to offer on this matter.

I'm surprised by the things you pointed out like the tithe card...I must say that I never knew things like that happen in churches, my first time of knowing about such is as you mentioned it...if it's so then it's so wrong.
When I started to grow as Christian and knowledgeable is when I started to study the Word for myself and that is the problem of so many Christians today, they don't make out time to study the Word firsthand, and if you don't study you're likely to get swayed, confused by different interpretation from different men...That's why many Christians are turning atheist today.
Knowing GOD personally is the best thing that could ever happen to a Christian, You'll Love GOD not because of what someone said but because you know GOD personally. (There are so many things I wish I could tell you...I'm passionate about GOD and Jesus) My advice to you is when studying the Word of GOD, don't use any other book or devotional, just your bible, so you'll learn and know about GOD pure and undiluted. Make out time to always study, you'll see your life change, it happened to me.
Confusion is probably the worst thing to happen to a Christian, ' cause the devil will capitalize on it and ruin your relationship with GOD.

As much as I am a christian and pay my tithe, I don't criticize or judge those that do not pay because churches of nowadays are turning into business centre. They emphasis on tithe than salvation and holiness. The members that pay the tithe look unkept while pastors and wife with children are cruising on latest SUVS and mansion. That was not what they prophets of old and the disciples did with tithe rather they give to the poor and needy but reverse is the case now. You are wrong by saying that sharing food to the poor can never replace tithe. How will God bless you if you pay tithe and your neighbour is dying of hunger? The New Testament CLEARLY tells you that giving charity to the poor is the SAME THING as giving to God. Your wicked Pastors are the ones eager to discourage you people from doing so.

If you don't believe in Abraham's blessings, well many of us still do. We believe in tithing and it works for us.

Where exactly in the Bible did it say tha, those who don’t pay tithe are robbing God? And before you response with Malachi, make sure you read the whole chapter and the premises and context.

If Jesus could consider it necessary to pay his taxes & and of his disciples, an action which does not command any heavenly blessings, but just to teach us about our civic responsibilities towards the government of the day; don’t you think major parts of his sermons would have dwell on the subject of robbing the Heavenly Father?

What about the Apostles, any reference to them practicing or even warning their listeners against this robbing God business?

Once more! Tithe is 10% according to law. Hebrews 7: 5-25, Gal 3: 23 & 24 shows Tithing is not for Christians. Since you are a christian, Please read your bible so you can appreciate that Tithing was 4 a priesthood which ended from God's standpoint when the new nation, the Christian congregation was established.
