Op,I did mine March dis year at ikoyi registry. Paid 31k
Registration is 3weeks ahead of d wedding.
On wedding day,hold extra 5 to 10k for some payment, Eg certificate, dashing of money to d registrars bc dey will so embarras u dat u dnt have a choice but to give.
In summary, I ended up spending abt 40k.

Me and my wife did court wedding in Kano registry court in September 2017 and we were asked to pay 8,000 and come with one crate of can maltina to entertain court officers and our guests. I made the booking in August and did the wedding 21 days after. All the expenses were less than 20k

op, to ans ur question. cost of marriage registry largely depends on your choice of location. There are certain requirements depending on the local government. I think Ikoyi registry is around 30-40k.. You will be given a list.. By the time u sum everything up, it ll fall BTW the quoted cost. However, some registry don't charge that much.. Ogun state could provide a cheaper one.. I know of Ado Odo registry.. The sum total is BTW 10-18k...
In addition to this, kindly note that some couple chose recognized registry cos of travelling and visa processes...

Ikoyi registry. 32k to register. 2k for singlehood certificate and 1k for something I can’t remember. U will need 2 passport photographs and letter of indegenization from ur liaison office though. Both urs and that of ur spouse. After which u will be given 21 days to come back and swear oath. The 21 days, they will post in all news paper accross the country. Just Incase u have been married before so they can report u.
So after the 21 days. U will choose a date to come we’d. It is less than a 5 minutes exercise though. But make sure u cum early. Choose Thursday or tuesdays and go very early. Before 12noon u should be home or back to work

And u can as well choose Saturday (that is if you are a working class) then you will pay additional 3,500 being public holiday, the other 1,000 mentioned above is for wedding certificate scroll.

Madam I would have liked your comment if its an encouragement. If you are directly frustrated or seing someone frustrated please dont make your frustration contagious. Hello, I just got wedded May 27, 2017 in Lagos
Ikoyi Registry= 33k (full payment made before the due date not earlier than three (3) weeks to the date.
3 passport photograph additional miscellaneous payment maybe like 4k(come with changes) sha for tips and for photographer.

Ikeja Registry = 12k additional miscellaneous payment maybe like 6k(come with changes) sha for tips and for photographer.

walk in without booking is 11,000(thats Wat we paid in 2013). booking 2weeks before the date is 2,000. don't know if the price is still same now.
