This is not about start ups.....I apologize.

This is about you hating on Nigerians living in the US, while also celebrating the Young Nigerian CEOs living in Nigeria (eating off fat salaries coming from a US Purse).

if you read all my comments,i wasnt hating, but was against people in the US who do menial jobs and portrays to the Nigerian public that they are enjoying life, when basically they are working 2-3 jobs to survive.

i m not against anybody travelling to the US but do not potray a false life.

inbetween "eating off fat salaries from a US purse",i have said it earlier as a clever business man,you can receive investment from anywhere and anybody that is ready to give you for a fair deal.

He had his secondary school education in Nigeria and Tertiary education in Canada; do you call that schooling in Nigeria? Iyinoluwa could afford over $30,000 yearly tuition at the University of Waterloo because he knew the value he was getting.

Nigeria frustrates young people. Do you wonder why parents spend FX to send their wards abroad to school? I like to think it's a way to "integrate" into their system.

How many Nigerians are on H1B visa in the US, how many have PR status across the world after completing a harmless undergraduate/post graduate degree?

you are highly Intelligent..

Everyone sounding like them no go School, bankers wey una suppose dey talk about Na tellers, contract staff..stop all this childish talk of comparing bank managers with menial job workers in yankeee .even a management trainee will not leave their job in Nigeria how much more a manager...it's disrespectful to compare the bankers with menial Job workers..the normal naija mentality is that bankers are those ones who pay them money at the counter,or those one who attend to your arm issues..when you talk of banker We are talking about those ones who deal in treasury, forex, international trading, bdc etc..make una educate unaselves biko!

I really don't get your point.
Are you telling me who a Banker is??.
Did i in any way sound like i don't know?

What i asked was what a Bank Manager earns in Nigeria that makes them incomparable to an RN nurse in America with annual income of usually above #30m and that is from one Job.

Thank you.

I've been reading the thread in my free time for the past 4 days and it's annoying to say the least.

You can't complain how people choose to live their lives. A bank manager can resign to go work as a bartender in the US. So far as he does so legally.

Iyinoluwa was born and brought up in Nigeria. He attended Loyola Jesuit College in Abuja, graduated in 2009, and went to University of Waterloo, Cabada. So, Mr. Iyin is a full-flesh Nigerian who schooled in Nigeria and went on to study as an international student in Canada.
what is this one saying?his parents must be very rich to have finished from loyola jesuit hope you know there tuition fee per session? besides this guy proceeded to Canada to further his undergraduate education in Canada which doesn't come cheap.and the guy would have gotten his permanent residential permit in Canada if not citizen as we speak......

Both at Loyola and in Canada, Iyin was on a full scholarship. I'm also studying in the United States right now on a full scholarship, and I'm not from a wealthy family. Do well academically and good schools will seek for you, enticing you with scholarships.

Do you realize your comments is increasing my views? I shattered your America dream but you seem stubborn. Better hand go meet you when you eventually get there. When you work like dog while running from pillar to post you come back to this post and thank me

I wish I can work like that dog in Nigeria.

Funny how majority of so called successful Nigerians living in America are into cyber crime. We read their wire wire stories all the time on this platform. That's why anytime I see a Nigerian doing well in America scam and stealing or drugs is the first thing that comes to my mind. Unlike Nigeria where you have a lot of young people whose businesses are booming. The truth of the matter is that yahoozee boys are not even in the top 50 set of professions of successful people making it in Nigeria. People are giving honor to these yahoozee boys they don't merit. They are not rich in a true sense and represent a very small percentage of those doing well in Nigeria

America did not make anybody. America as a capitalist state represent the notion that all property is theft. True success abound on the continent of Africa, and Nigeria is leading the way.

The argument on this thread is one sided sed..we should be looking at all angles of those people living in the USA...are we talking about those ones who don't have papers in the USA or the ones who have...which and which are we comparing to bank workers in Nigeria...Those ones who don't have papers shouldn't just come on this thread and start bragging. Even the ones who have papers are shocked and full of envy when they see Nigerians on birth tourism that can afford to pay those bills..it shocks them to their bone that can afford it and not bank on their "insurance"...make everybody choose the country wey pay am biko!

If Yankee bad! Why dem dey come waste money just to born their pikin for this end?

If you can have afford to acquire dual or multiple citizenship for your kids why miss the opportunity..it could have been any country..USA and Canada are just the easiest..is there a law that forbids having dual or multiple citizenship?

And that's what I have been trying to put into their dumb brains! America does not give you any advantage in terms of being successful. Being in America guarantees nothing. You need to work like they do in every part of the world to become successful
