FirstBank transactions are working now but monthly limit is $1,100. Since your husband has a Dom account, maybe he should request for a dollar card on it? As mentioned by someone earlier, only Access Bank’s limit can carry your amount on a Naira card as their monthly limit is now $5k. Most banks are in the range of $1k monthly.

Thank you ma'am.

Good day Seniors in the House,

I have a question. When exactly can you claim points for a sibling living in Canada.

- So if a sibling is just leaving Nigeria for Canada through express entry, is it immediately after he/she lands or the sibling has to get his/her PR card first and get settled?(I hear this can take over a month).
- Can you claim points as soon as sibling lands in Canada?

Considering you have to show evidence of their status and relationship with you

1) Canadian Status of the sibling: Can one present a stamped copy of the sibling's passport?
2) Proof of PR/Citizenship Status: Can a passport also be submitted as evidence?
3) Residence in Canada: How soon can one get utility bills to show this, bank statements, phone bill etc?
4) Relationship between you and the sibling:This is straight forward, birth certificate, passports etc.

Thanks

Good day to you all.
I have been calculating my point using crs calculator but my age is 35 years which cuts down my point drastically. My question is; can I cut down my age to 31 years without being noticed athat all so that I can claim additional 25 points on the age?
Please gurus, I need answer because I have tried my best on ielts but seems I am limited to average of LWSR 6.5, 7, 8, 8. The listening is very difficult for me. I hope u understand my plight. Please, the question is on the age which I will reflect it on my international passport.
I will appreciate it if I can get answer

Hi, see above.

Thanks Blackbuddy, very helpful.

But note that Im talking about claiming points to get into the EE pool. For Post ITA submission stage (If i am picked) i anticipate that he/she would have the PR card by then and I can submit it as evidence. Do you get, technically he/she is landing as a Permanent Residence right?

Thanks

What u are asking/trying to do is called MISREPRESENTATION. And it may attract a life ban.
If I may ask, which age did u register the IELTS you posted the result with? Which age was on the international passport you used in registering the said IELTS? Or have u forgotten you have a record with BC or immigration?
Just focus on retaking your IELTS and aim at scoring 8 in listening while you maintain the performance of others. Don't misrepresent. My 2kobo.

WASHINGTON – The President of the U.S Donald Trump has said his administration would put an end to the long-existing Diversity Visa (DV) lottery program.

Reads like fake news to me. There's no Raymond Arthur with the BBC.

You made me laugh with the last line of your response. You are very nice and oh so polite.

mcstan18:

Class of degree has ZERO impact in what happens here.
With less than one year work experience, your scores would likely hover around the 390-410 points(depending on the outcome of your IELTS of course). That's not too good, except you'd like to opt for the PNP since you are still young enough, in case there's any significant delay. For most provinces, to be eligible, you still need a score of 400 and above.

Please which school did you graduate from again? I'm just being curious.

"The sibling is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, living in Canada"

You will have to wait till the sibling has COPR and has landed (not short landing please). They can easily verify this information, if you get the ITA based on these additional points whilst your sibling is not yet 'living' in Canada, you may have to reject it or risk denial.

Please Seniors, For travel history for a family,

"Has Bleep, and if applicable, Bleep's family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since their 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc

Is this applicable to the PA only or the PA, parents and siblings or PA and spouse?

Even though we understand your plight, what you’re asking is completely criminal and will earn you a ban so gbogboro that you will never be able to step out of your home state again. Please don’t attempt it. There are people here who are above 40 years old and have sought other means e.g. a Provincial nomination to boost their chances when all else fails. And this is even when they have maxed out all their scores on IELTS. Please get back to your IELTS study and practice. A few sleepless nights in order to ace an IELTS exam is way better than long lonely nights in a ‘PHCNless’ society if indeed that’s the society you are trying to escape from.

A word is enough for the wise. I beg you, don’t do it.
