Icon4s:Erm ...I take an exception to the bolded. Though I believe so much in Ezenwa. I don't even believe that he played badly against Algeria but his biggest undoing is his height. He is good enough but I don't trust that he can save for us a last minute penalty. He is not good on spot kicks, he has never caught anyone. Such a keeper to me is not excellent. A well rounded keeper should be able to catch penalties too but for his height, it is a big disadvantage to him. Based on this premise I will stand by Uzoho for now until a better option becomes available |

realpoacher:Ezenwa caught a penalty against Benin, during CHAN qualifiers. I know height is an issue with Ezenwa but In his 4 games in the WC qualifiers he never conceded a single goal from open play. I am not satisfied with him. In fact he is an evil. But a lesser evil. Uzoho is not tested. I don't trust such players. |

Humility017:The boy is good on the ball, loves to play the ball a lot, he's not easily dispossessed, I haven't seen him play at the defense before. You can watch one of his games at Granada when he played against Barca last year. He practically marked Messi out. First time post. |

Loogan:Putting pressure on the team bi ti bawo? I'm lost. Does the coaching crew come here to validate their decisions as regard the team? Or does everyone on this thread have direct link to the NFF and the coaches? |

isan:Funny but mostly accurate. Firstly, I feel Echiejile stands more than 70% chance. His should be up to over 90%. Secondly Ezenwa seems to be the surest goalie to make it to Russia. Though whether he will be first choice or not is another thing. He would be a ready back up for who ever becomes first choice. He has up to 70% chance. John Ogu should be up to 90%. You forgot Kenneth Omeruo Uduokhai and Ola Aina cannot be on the same chance. Uduokhai should not be more than 30% for me. |

krattoss:Moses would have remained on the bench or sent on loan ,his present position brought out the best in him. it has helped his decision making, cos he doesnt get the ball more often , any opportunity he has with the ball, he he utilize them well as if another one will not come . |

Super eagles sports fans, i am here to report to the house the childish and irresponsible behaviour of one of your own TheGoodJoe or Cityjoe. I have been his fan on this thread till he dabbled into some threads in the political section. His posts portrayed him as a full blown tribalist. Anybody that knows TheGoodJoe should warned him to refrain from posting tribal comments on the political thread otherwise this once peaceful thread will become a theatre of war. |

I have a question to ask. Is this the time to go about "looking for the best?" or is this the time for us to "bring out the best in what we already have?" Kratoss, Kog45, Safarigirl, Mujtahida, TheGoodJoe, Komekn, Jihady, Icon4s, Icon79, Soetanoreoluwa, elyte89, Goke7, Jobie, Forgiveness, Somehow, goldfish80, Tbaba1234 + others who's got a thing to say. |

g0tze:Your plan to kill me with laugh will not work. Please, my darling mum is an Igbo woman. From Abia State. I have aunties, uncles and cousins who are Igbo. I go to my mother's side and I am welcomed as a son. How the heck will I be tribalistic against the Igbos? Chill and sip some cold beer. Cheers. |

g0tze:I've been a follower of this thread for a while now, although started posting comments today. Joe is a grown ass man, he can do whatever the hell he wants, any where he wants online, we're not his parents. Just so that when he comes into this thread he takes off whatever cloak he puts on in other threads, we're cool. You coming to threaten the peace of this thread is as empty as the loudest drum, as you'd be ignored to the extent you'd doubt your existence, I trust the group of matured people here. Whatever issues you have who Joe, work them outside of here. Entendido? |

elunico:I grew up with a different understanding of the game. Back in the past, we camped before the World Cup to make sure we are going with the best possible legs. I still feel it is the way to go but I respect whatever decision the coaching crew makes. On your question, look at the game against Argentina and the impact of Idowu and Ebuehi. No matter how hard we work to get the best out of Shehu Abdullahi and Aina, I doubt they would bring such effects as Idowu and Aina. I believe the impact of a better player is more effective than getting the best out of a weaker player, especially now the tournament is close. |
