You got your visa for Anglia Ruskin already!!! I flew Emirates but i don't know how much now. Do you have a place to stay in Cambridge? School accomodation perharps??. How do you plan to get from the airport to cambridge. I suggest you get the train.. you are gonna love cambridge. It is cold at the moment so you might wanna have a jacket.

Priority visa is really fast ....atleast from my brothers application's testimony....

He submitted and did his interview on the same day the 5th of dec...
Message came in from TsL on Monday that decision has been made

Though the stupid boy said the interview ddnt go well at all, at all, he was just saying nonsense, so I was already getting him ready for a re-appeal or re apply, but God pass me.....the lucky dude just strolled in with a bottle of andre...

Wow, he is really lucky. I had to do a second interview for mine. i paid for priority visa and i got an email and a phone call to ask me to come for the interview the second day after i submitted and they asked me the same question. I got the visa the day after tho.

Yea u are. When u Wana apply for ur visa u can just print longer since by then u will even have more than 28 days .

My advice is to study hard and graduate with a 1st class or upper second. And there are a lot of scholarship that you could apply for, which will reduce your experiences significantly if not to zero

Concentrate on your books and do well in your First Degree.
Cross the river when you reach.
And if you are so keen in having your questions answered, a good place to start is to start from Page 1 of this thread just as @Justwise advise

I submitted my administrative review since 29th of November and no response till now...pls is anyone goin thru dis?? It is frustrating.

UK Embassy is now rubbish seriously frustrating, My refusal has been overturned by the Home Office since 7/11/2017 and I have been told the Lagos embassy will contact me and up till now i am yet to hear from them, I went there in person today and I deny entry even I was told by the security that they don't process visa there any more and I contacted the TLScontact at Ikeja those one too told me they don't deal with visa issue, I don't even know what to do now, UK embassy is seriously a rubbish embassy.

My review for them is -ve10 worst than zero self.


Please any one that can help out on what to do, school resume January.

Actually whenever they say ur refusal have bn overturned , you are suppose to take your passport with the email they sent to you back to the visa application center where you initially applied.they will collect and send to Sheffield for visa. The visa application center will then contact you whenever it is ready for collection. Why did they refuse you tho?

Your frustration is understood, albeit misplaced.
1. By UK Embassy, what exactly do you mean? Office of the High Commision(er)? or the Consulate? Or you meant TLS Contact?

2. When your refusal was up-turned, how did you get the message conveying the decision? Was the decision from the EMBASSY or from TLSContact or from UKVI?

3. I am sure the medium through which you were communicated must have made it clear on what steps you need(ed) to take.


Its frustrating. Patience my brother. Or otherwise, get back to them who told you Lagos Embassy will contact you, and let them know that Lagos Embassy hasn't contacted you, yet.
By the way, did they give you a timeline for the contact from the lagos embassy?
