ugreat: It don't think it says Rob Percival on the pirate bay page. I will look for it when i get home as i am at work at the moment. And yes i have tested and tried it and it was the first every web development course i took. I have not found a better one. It touches on everything, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, PHP, the MVC model, jQuery, Wordpress, MySQL and some other stuffs i cannot remember at the moment. At the end of the course, you will be able to design a web application from scratch to finish (both front end and back end). I have the video on my udemy account but i can't download it as the download option for PC is not available |

ugreat: I looked when i got home but couldn't find the course. i downloaded these two and checked it out. they will do the job and the first one has some frame works. My advise, don't start with frameworks. learn the language first before you move on to frameworks. https://fastbay.net/torrent/18961701/The_Web_Developer_Bootcamp_[Udemy](2016) https://fastbay.net/torrent/11485696/Udemy_-_The_Complete_Web_Developer 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hello, thanks for this thread. After reading, my hopes of becoming a programmer skyrocketed to the rocketed end. I always wonder how this applications function, and how they came to be. But I don't really get nice stuffs online. I studied microbiology, I want to learn from scratch. There are some language terminologies that was used along the thread like end lines, DUI., ND stuffs like that. I will be grateful if a link will be provided to get me started as an amateur beginner and also mentorship will be appreciated. I look forward to writing programs for games (I like games well) n do something useful for microbiologist with it. |

For every software course, C language is the must and should. So after that, Java is best in all departments to gain enough knowledge and become perfect in the subject. |

A beginners trick I learned way too late in the game of learning to code: repetition repetition repetition The biggest issue I've come across in learning to code is that no matter what tutorial I've tried, there simple were never enough examples to work through to become proficient in whatever I was learning at the time. When I bring this up, it's generally met with "you just want to be spoon fed" or "you need to build stuff! Go and build" by programmers. I've learned how to fix this issue. It's extremely simple: Take the last exercise you were shown/taught and repeat it three times. 1st iteration is to make sure you understand what the hell's going on and can repeat it, do you understand the functions, the loops, the getters, setters and constructs? You won't understand because you'll need to keep referring to your last attempt, hence doing it two more times. 2nd iteration is to do the same project again but this time without referring to old code at all. It's not about memorizing. It's about understanding what you want to do next and what tool you need to slap in your code to get there and knowing how to do it...well, a little memorizing comes in handy but at a certain point you're no longer memorizing and you're more just 'knowing it'. Can you clean up your code a bit? Can you DRY it out some? 3rd iteration is to build on it. Can you add another property to the Class? If it's HTML can you add 6 columns with images instead of just 2? Just add shit to the project with what you already know. Add stuff that you learned 2-3 lessons ago but haven't touched since then. After doing an exercise three times you'll go from "Monkey See, Monkey Do" all the way to "Monkey Know!" 4 Likes 1 Share |

If you are a PHP nerd here or you are just putting your feet into the waters, we have gist. It's been a while I touched PHP, but I still remember the rule of never learning with random Youtube videos. Always get full step by step videos (courses) I got a free course for you PHP for beginners - http://vializer.com/BnUD and for the overachievers out there (advanced and experts) - http://vializer.com/BoAM is a PHP and MYsql beyond the basics course. I am in the resource sharing camp. I hope you share these links too. 1 Like 1 Share |

obasiete: U cant put it on play store yet. Java has three versions.. Java EE(Enterprise Edition) java SE(Standard Edition) and Java ME(Micro Edition). Android is a different programming language. But if you are familiar with java you can learn android programming fast. You still have a lot to learn. |
