Please what is the best way to raise my camry 2001. Should i raise the shocks or buy a different tyre spec such as 205/70/R15 ( the recommended dimension is 205/65/R15) Please what is your view? |

Change the tyres to bigger and fatter ones. Doing anything to the springs is something you will end up regretting as it messes with the balance of the car. |

Just get slightly higher Tyres and put it. You will regret it later if u increase d springs or add raising rubbers as most mechanics will advise u. |

Has any one used 205/70/R15 specification in his 2001 camry before? please what was your experience? |

You should use 215/70r15 instead, it would fit your car perfectly like using a 16inch rim and won't affect handling at all. But sometimes tire isn't actually the culprit, have you checked your shocks, linkage etc to confirm they are not weak making the car scrape the ground. Or if the funds are available, it's time for a change to affordable cuvs for better ground clearance |
