Lol, she has seen better thing she no want milk again. Load the mede mede food with milk. At least 4 scoops per meal. If she eats those foods 5 times a day you have given the equivalent of 600mls of milk. Just make sure she drinks plenty water

You can put the Tom brown/oatmeal in a cooler for the nanny to feed her. Make it the first meal of the day
For purees freeze them, defrost before going to creche, steam in a pot of water then pack it. Nanny will feed her as second meal
Heinz the nanny can make with no issues. Pack the powder required in a container, mixed with the formula powder. Nanny mixes with water and feeds baby.

PPS: yes you can, but give her without the puree first. Na we dey like sweet things, most babies don't mind

Her nanny at the creche is complaining seriously and I can see she is no longer as heavy as she used to be. She only wants BM and those mede mede foods. Should I be worried? How will she be meeting her daily milk requirements? She will be 6months in January.

Mamas o, please help say a word of prayer for my little sunshine and to thank God for his faithfulness.

God has been 100% faithful to us in every area. From preggy days till delivery, till now, he has kept us in the hollow of his hands.

Childbirth had been my biggest fear in life, in fact i never thought i could have a vagina birth because i'm as weak as they come. My threshold of pain is alarmingly low, so low that people around me keep asking "you go fit born so" even as a single girl. Even DH considered elective CS for me. But the strength of Jesus is made perfect in our weaknesses.
God gave me the smoothest delivery ever, in my travail, Jehovah Ebenezer was there to help me. At 8cm, i became overwhelmed and started crying for a CS, but my baby was already making his way out and we hurriedly ran to the delivery room. One push had my son out crying out his lungs and i couldn't believe i had overcome my biggest fear. The Lord God came through for me.

From delivery up until now, we've not had any reason to go to the hospital. Jehovah rapha went a step further from giving us divine healing in times of sickness to keeping us in divine health.

Today i look back and can't help but shed a few tears. No man could have done these things. We are so grateful to you Lord.

Chiziterem, you have indeed brought immense Joy to our lives and i cant help but bless God for your life. On this day i decree as your mother, that your days on earth will be long and thoroughly satisfying, you will grow in wisdom and in the knowledge of Christ your savior and redeemer. I pack two flasks to crèche everyday. There's always pap in one flask then the other flask varies with puréed potatoes, plantain, or apple. The flasks keep the food warm all day and she's fed twice from each flask. My baby doesn't even want the milk in her food so I always ask them to put just a scoop or none. Since your baby doesn't mind the milk in her food, then add them to her food instead and breastfeed when you're together. If light is good you can make the purees by weekend and freeze then defrost every morning. There's a post about baby meals on Iomoge2's diary and I'd try quote a view others in this thread I've shared in the past and cc you.

then add coconut and blend with water n filter.
Now u filter into iceblock for preservation else it will get spoilt as its hitting d ground.

Wash like u want to prepare moimoi and mak sure everY peel and black eye is removed so baby doesnt purge
Boil your titus fish and liver
Debone the fish and peel d nylon looking stuff off the liver
Use pressure pot to cook the beans, fish n liver after putting a spoon of oil.
Wen well cooked, blend and bring to boil again
Wen cold, serve in small small portions and freeze.
The constitency wont be too thick. Cos at a point my madam was using bottles

Plaintain
Unripe plantain. Bring to boil after adding carrot
Deboned fish, liver n snail
Blend all
Freeze after serving in smaller portions

Sweet potato is same as plantain

Rice
I bought already grounded rice for baby
But mumsy used ofada rice, picked it fir stone n used d dry mill to grind
Brought to boil after washing with carrots and some veggies
Blended all again with boiled fish, liver n snail.
Same cooking then serving then freezin

She has also asked i do meatpie mix and serve her
Not too much just one or two meals

Now in all of this. No spice or salt. Says d fish n liver is enough salt

It’s very typical of men to think that we are overreacting over certain issues.

Ever since I had to go to the hospital with a sick child around 2am, I have learnt never to allow any symptoms fester for long before going to the hospital. My threshold for “wait and see” is maximum 24 hours (and that’s for a child older than 12months). Younger than 12months, we are off to the hospital that same day.

I have realised that the longer you wait, you only end up with a child whose symptoms go from bad to worse, you have sleepless nights, you are stressed, you can’t go to work, you can’t do anything.

So the earlier the child is seen by a doctor the better for both the parents and the child.

Self medication is very bad. These days, there are just too many drugs out there that it’s impossible to just “guess” which one will work except one is an experienced medical professional (doctor).

As for the laboratory technologists no words. some of them “learn” the role as apprentices without any formal tertiary education.

My dear Mamas, I want to inform you that you may be watching a fellow mama here on Channels News tonight after she is arrested for the murder of her hair stylist. My hubby does not understand what the hullabo is about so I have come here to rant to my fellow women.

So I got this hair in September, 18",16",14" with closure from a trusted hair vendor for 80k. Na piecemeal I take pay until I finished paying last week. Collected the hair and was imagining all the people that will die from my hotness when I wear this weave. Later the devil whispered to me and I felt I had too many black hair, at least let this one be different. I already have a blonde weave so I said let me make this one copper. Took it to my stylist to colour and she said 10k. I sha managed to beat it down to 7k and we agreed. I was supposed to collect the hair on Saturday. When called, she said it was not ready as the hair did not fully take the colour so she he to do it again. I asked her if dying hair twice in short period of time like that would not damage it. She said no, that it will be treated. My mothers, mamas and sistren, I am just coming from my stylist place. Please see what my hair has turned to. The tips are fried and frazzled. In order for her to achieve the copper colour, she went to use a very strong bleach and the treatment was not strong enough to get the bleach out. I want to kill somebody here o. She is just singing sorry to me anyhow but how that one take concern me? Is this how my 80k will go down the drain? I have asked all the people I can and the said I have to get the Aphogee two step protein treatment, that that is what will restore the damage but the wahala is that the Aphogee is 10k. It might not actually be the stylist’s fault but the quality of the weave itself.

Another thing is that she might have curled the hair using overly hot straighteners/curling rod. I once had a weave “destroyed” in similar fashion at a very popular salon at ikeja.

The only remedy I can think of is to damp the weave with water and then apply a lot of hair conditioner on the weave. you leave it soaked in the hair conditioner for at least 24 hours. I recommend Garnier ultimate blends “the sleek restorer” conditioner with coconut oil and cocoa butter.

After 24 hours, rinse with warm water and leave to dry naturally.

I use this method for my weaves and it works well.

I always use John Freida serum for all my weaves. If you can get one, it will help in ensuring the weave is soft with lustre without looking overly shiny.

Can I express, freeze and carry it along so he can be fed incase I stay longer than expected. How long can frozen breast milk stay outside the freezer before it becomes bad

That stylist no try at all. Personally, I will pay her half the agreed price.
