I transferred almost 6.2million naira out of my GTB account this afternoon at Ogoja road branch in Abakaliki to another bank. It's a useless anti-Igbo bank that gives no help to any customers. I'd been waiting for a time like this INNOSON issue to just part with them. GTB will gradually begin to ''feel it'' from this part of the country in no time.

Who is the DMD of GT Bank

Na, rather because of public onslaught.

Infact the majority of people that would shout down the bank might not even have GTbank account, would not be related in anyway to Innonson.

Oga just out of pure wickedness... The would from their Tecno phone through social media run down obviously the best bank in Nigeria.

never underestimate the power of social media.

And they think CBN will allow GT Bank go under?

A man identified as Chukwudi Iwuchukwu has allegedly shut down his bank account with Guaranty trust bank following the recent issue the bank has with Innoson motors boss, Chief Innocent Chukwuma.

It will be recalled that Chukwuma was arrested by the Economic and financial crimes commission, EFCC, in Enugu on Tuesday morning. He accused GTB of being behind his ordeal because of a debt the bank owed him.

Iwuchukwu took to Facebook to announce his decision;

This morning, I walked into the nearest GTB branch and requested for a form to close our company account with them.

The gorgeous lady who attended to me wanted to know why I was closing the account and moving the funds to Zenith bank.

I told her is very simple! I’m taking this action as a form of protest to the bank for the way they handled the Innoson saga and most importantly, for victimizing the man simply because of business transaction that went wrong.

Not only this, I have been on the phone since morning talking to 2 of my friends who are billionaires and who have billions of their company’s fund with the bank to move it as well.

Thank God they have done that, one authorized his accountant to move the funds from GTB to first bank, the other one from GTB to Zenith bank

The lady was dazed and I think it is very important the management of GTB get this memo.

I’m not a tribalist, I avoid tribal sentiments
but you see there is a limit to what you see and observe happening to your people without taking action to protest.

What Innoson is going through in the hands of GTB is corporate wickedness and witchcraft.

I call on young And older entrepreneurs who have their business funds in that bank should move it today, not tomorrow but today in solidarity with our brother, jewel and one of our brightest son who slept in EFCC custody last night because of GTB.

We need to boycott GTB for being a useless bank and boycott them for good.

They are not the only bank in Nigeria.

Nonsense!

really pity Nigerians. If I may be permitted to say my mind, this Innoson saga is jut to take away the attention of citizens from the the scourging petrol scarcity that has hit the nation and from all indications will be getting harder as we launch into the peak of the festive period.

And believe me for that price to reduce it may birth a new price.

pls this innoson and GTB saga is too costly for a reasonable government to play with. Do you know that this has damaged this mans reputation hence may cause a decline in his business which has employed over 5000 Nigerian youths. So both the patrol scarcity and attack on innoson are signs of a failed government.

The real issue here is not only about GTB duping Inoson maliciously but the issue was that virtually all d banks in Nigeria av been doing so to all their customers both wealthy & masses. Itz just that GTB cup has runneth over & wind don expose their fowl yarnsh which will make all the other banks to quickly learn, start correcting their mistakes & now be forming Holy. If we like, make we close our accounts with them & start running helter skelter to other banks......same thing might & will happen in the nearest future to all or some of the banks we're running to. Now tell me which Bank never cut ur money anyhow on some baseless excuses as "Bank charges" To me all d banks are birds of the same feather & thieves. Na d one wey daylight break on top im head na barawo. Good riddance.

Hhaahahahahahaha....thought i was the only one who saw that.

It's remarkably and surprisingly easy to be a millionaire, modestly speaking i was within 1 year of working

(Just earn close to 300k and live in an un-expensive city, in no time you can get there easily. A lot of young Drs are; obviously)

BUT being a billionaire is not beans at all....Let me break it down. It means you are worth at least 2000 millionaires' networth at 2 million each

I have a banker friend who tells me about clients with billions, i just doubt the pictured guy rolls in such circles grin grin grin
Lol.It is only the average and poor that try to look rich.
It is a matter of perspective. For some, being a millionaire is unbelievable, a dream. They can't see it.
But a lot of people on the streets are millionaires.
A lot of those igbo traders you see in the market? They are millionaires. You dont even have to be a dr.
Same thing with being a billionaire. If you cant see it.It will seem impossible.Unfathomable.But there are a lot of billionaires out there
