Rasheed Abubakar, one day Christianity ll give your HBP if you don't start thinking straight. You think real Christians celebrate trampling on human rights? In your census of reading over 500 posts, what's the evidence those against Firdaus Amasa are mostly Christians? Cos they v names that doesn't look like Islamic ones?
Are Christians the maker of the NBA law & "dress codes?
Chief Alfa Belgore, a reckoned Muslim from Ilorin was among the people that sent Firdaus away. You didn't even care that the girl tried to express her rights in the wrong way.
Your post generalized like it's all Christians that's hating on Firdaus's hijab issue. Your hatred towards Christianity was noticed. Not all Christians are loosed, we v sane Christians who respect people's opinion & obey God's command.
As for the matter, Firdaus issue should be decided by the NBA. But if she's allowed to use hijab, it ll spark revolution in dress codes for various institutions in Nigeria. Muslims should not cry foul when they see reactions from every religion.

No one is holding them now. It's a free world.
We are all living witnesses to an attempt to play that out in Osun State the other day. Those of other religions went on to instruct their wards to dress in chorister's uniform, sango wears, among other ceremonial wears in protest to the hijab uniform to Muslim school girls. We could all see how theirs wasn't sustainable. Their dressing styles are purely ceremonial.
Unlike the hijab, these dressings cited are only ceremonial wears. The hijab isn't a ceremonial wear. It's every time you see that woman in hijab but you want her to remove it to disregard God's commandments. She doesn't wear it occasionally. She believes it's part of her religion. The Nigerian law respects her right to practice her religion. Her right to wear the hijab does, in no way, harm the rights of non-hijab wearers

I will say it again and again, Islamist cannot say anything valid without quoting from the only Holy Book- The Bible.
Yet you quoted Corinthians about women not speaking in Churches, you interpreted wrongly. To explain that to you I may just need another thread.
But remember Deborah was a Prophetess and in the epistle we have Paul commending several women working in the church.

Defend your religion if you will, look for evidence from your book.

After all is said and done, Only the Bible matters.
the only Holy book that Jesus isnt/wasnt aware of..... I laff in geek

The New testament is about his life, His times and the Early Church.

Weak rebuttal.

Your book is about who?

It a known fact that Jesus is mentioned 5 times than any of your prophets in the Koran. Wetin you know sef.

What do you even understand by Prophets? Tell me Prophets in your book and their prophecies.

You see I choosed Christianity because not only do i see truth in it, but its Prophesies are real and reveled in our times.

What is happening in Israel today has long been foretold. What evidence do I need again.

Go and get lesson in your Islamic school of brain washing. Don't forget to quote from Genesis to Revelation

Even as a Muslim, I avoid commenting on Islamic threads because of that badge that's pasted on my profile whenever I comment. But I had to take the badge just to comment on this.

The so called Abubakar Rasheed is a hypocrite. His article is biased and very insultive to Christians. It does not even deserve a deep comment.

Everyone knows the law is not about hijab but any form of headcover. It even covers hairstyle and mode of dressing, even down to the use of ties. But some hypocrites want to make it seem like it was targeted at the hijab.

Am seriously disappointed in u. The argument is about our constitution which is superior to any conventions as far as Nigeria is in the picture. It may not favor us this time the law is thelaw. Let everybody obey the law. To everybody not all Christian support violation of human rights. Please let always obey the constitution thank you all.

Of course I laugh at your incoherency and outright confusion.

I read The Bible. My Pastor Uses the Bible.
Jesus Quoted from the OT
He can't quote from NT since it was written after him.
NT is all about Jesus, His life, His mission on earth, His death, His resurrection and His Glorification.

The Bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable.

Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you.

It is the traveler’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass, the soldier’s sword and the Christian’s charter. Here too, Heaven is opened and the gates of Hell disclosed.

Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure.

It is given you in life, will be opened at the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, rewards the greatest labor, and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents.

do i have to follow what everyone says or follow the way her God has laid down for her.
If the president daughter refuses to put on hijab does not mean another person should follow suit.if the ruler of saudi should rule on a matter not in the quran or teachings of the prophet,we reject it immediately.
Her hijab is her dignity as a woman,to give her respect and honor
u do not look at her or address her the way u address a woman who puts on chest revealing clothes.
That is what dignity means to a muslim woman.
Except ure being hypocritical
u can not address her the way u address the girls that reveal their bodies.
She has the right to pursue whichever career she wants as stated in her quran and hadiths.

I use the Holy Bible. My Pastor uses same.

You will agree with me that American English is different from British English.
The versions of the Bible is the language not the content.
Let megive you a sample.
John 3 16
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. KJV
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. NIV

16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son[a] so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. The Living Bible

For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life. Good NewsBible

I can go on and on, its just the use of language. not the meaning.
Unlike some book that is only written in one strange language, that only the imam understands partly, others just follow blindly.
