Women in developed countries have a different mentality somehow from those in the developing countries when it comes to money. |

kmcutez:You got your statistics from where? Why would you degrade your continent so low as if mentality isn't an individual thing? Their mentality when it comes to money ain't different from ours. The Mexicans are known for hard drugs and selling them off to make lots of money(millions)and those Mexican women that follow rich drug lords, are they different? Money is an individual thing and it cuts across the world. Everyone needs money. |

Ginaz:Is Mexico a developed country? Women in developed countries would rather work and make their own money to foot their bills most of the time. Now compare an average Swiss woman to an average Nigerian woman. There are also cultural differences that play a role in shaping this mentality, hence why I said their mentality are somewhat different when it comes to money for e.g. like offering to split the bill when they go out on dates, not expecting the opposite sex to foot their bills, take care of their family etc. |

kmcutez:Money cuts across continent. Don't forget an average swiss woman could come from a higher class, medium class and lower class, same with a Nigerian. A medium class swiss woman could have the mentality you seemed to tagged an average Nigerian. Don't think being an average swiss woman mean automatically they all have the same reason towards money( it's like saying a whole country are gays, but you know it ain't possible). I don't know where you got the statistic that an average developed woman would rather work for her money and an average Nigerian can't. Are you kidding me? ![]() Wow, I know the situations of things in the country but it hasn't gotten to that now. There are lots of hard-working girls in Nigeria like Linda ikeji who worked from being an average to first class . Just cos there are few bad eggs doesn't mean you should discriminate. Hell! there are bad eggs everywhere, including your so called developed world. ![]() That footing of bills and all that, it's a personal thing. It differs from country to country. In Italy for example, girls do expect their boyfriends to pay for dinner dates. In a debate around the world, more than 80% of people think men should foot the bills while the rest said it's women. So it's not only a Nigerian thing. You are a Nigerian woman, don't belittle us too low like dogs please. |

kimbraa:KIMBRA: Be careful your use of words..... Dyslexic children and adults struggle to read fluently, spell words correctly and learn a second language, among other challenges. But these difficulties have no connection to their overall intelligence. In fact, dyslexia is an unexpected difficulty in reading in an individual who has the intelligence to be a much better reader. While people with dyslexia are slow readers, they often, paradoxically, are very fast and creative thinkers with strong reasoning abilities. Kimbra, again, you sound intelligent but you are not. I know this because i was like you many years ago when i was in secondary School. I had argued with my Geography teacher that she cannot say we are underfed or that Lagos State is not over populated. She now explained to me the six classes of food and in what portion you need to take them to be categorized as eating a balanced diet and not just because you have a full stomach and also that you have to divide the # of people with the land area and the ratio has to be with a certain ratio before you can say a place is overpopulated and not based on the poor housing or poor transportation. Back to the discussion, now it is becoming interpretation of what the writer was saying based in your understanding in COLLABORATION with your mindset, experiences, background, environment etc now that is your understanding, you, you you and thats ok.... Ginaz, I and others understanding is different. It becomes an issue if you now say your understanding was what the writer was trying to say. So what i will say is your interpretation is wrong with possibility of it being right and ours is right with possibility of it being wrong. Now, once again, pls stop calling us attention seekers, i am not seeking your attention. If i am seeking your attention i will reach out its as simple as that. |

Organs:The writer of the article has a poor command of English, and her article is full of ambiguity, and coupled with the fact that she comes across as semi illiterate, and also her environment does not also help her case, one might be forced to decipher her article in different ways. Too much emphasis on money and less on how she will get that money. E.g. When I get money, as far as there is money, now that money has come, etc etc . Money, money, money. |

kmcutez:kmcutez: I agree with you absolutely. It becomes a case of the half full and half empty cup. An optimistic mindset will see it as half full and a pessimistic mindset might see it as half empty and its the same content but different interpretations based on our mindset. As long as we agree that this is our understanding of what "we think the writer is saying" is totally different from emphatically saying this was what she was saying. |

I regret having a conversation with the girl 'cause the worse anyone could do is to have an argument with a conceited person. She has this much certitude that the lady wasn't in anyway referring to gold digging. Unfortunately for her, some of her supporters are know to be dyslexic, and it's evident in their inputs on the forum.
