We can only guess, although it is very possible they don't even believe in God. In any case, if the average Nigerian pastor is acting, they do it as though they very much believe what they selling. |

plessis: I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE AVERAGE OR BROKE PASTORS BY THE STREET CORNERS. BUT I ALWAYS TELL RELIGIOUS PEOPLE, THAT ALL THEIR POPE, DADDY GO'S AND BISHOPS ARE ALL ATHEISTS AND UNBELIEVERS. I suspect the more intellectual ones, those who have studied outside the bible, would know. The evidence is compelling and the more one actually understands, the more effective one is in utilising religion. And positively, at that, though negatively too. The less knowledgeable, those who just believe, well, they just believe, and are probably in the majority. Then you got those, give me the money, type. They don't know or care whether its true or not, just pay your tithes people! There's other sorts of course. |
