And we have a whole Christmas celebration going on all over Africa, all based on myth!!. What makes this celebration superior to African myths?

If something is wrong with African myths, something also must be wrong with all the other myths imposed on us by Europeans.

See list of Gods born on 25th December by a virgin https://www.nairaland.com/4251378/list-gods-born-virgin-25th
You have a very good point there.
And that's the truth.

Almost all African cultures are unfavourable to women.

They MUST all be abolished
Precisely what I was going to say.

Hedonistically:
Men have it worse where it matters most: The pressure to make and spend money. A woman would wear N300 okrika top and leggings and parade around town without one naira in her pocket (heck, they never even have pockets in their yeye leggings/jeggings), but somehow she would chop belle full and still come back home with money in her pocket. It's not American wonder. It is Nigerian wonder. Try that as a man, you would see your face paraded on NTA as a suspected kidnapper before the day runs out.

On top of all that, our culture does not prevent women from getting jobs more easily than their male counterparts (courtesy of bottom power). It's the most unfavourable thing in the world. You expect me to have money, yet you allow women use sex and feminine charms to chance me and get the job that I'm supposed to get in order to meet up with male financial expectations. Yet you're here talking about how the culture is unfavourable to women. You dey mad?

Make women go siddon one place.
You get point there.
But no forget say she go still carry ur pickin for her belle for nine months o! All those time probably u go dey free to still dey collect outside shot just because say u be man.
Why don't you carry the pregnancy for her for 3month let see how u'll becomes.
You guys should have some little conscience.

trash.
women who have made it to the top do so with share determination and brilliance!
For a woman to have respect of her male colleagues she must be twice as intelligence.

Name one woman you know who "slept" her way to the top..
What that hell? First of all this is a fallacy of hasty generalization. But Oga, I take it you have not worked in a large organization or in political circles. I used to work at Ecobank in Mary selessor road Calabar. While I was there in 2010, a group of female corpers were brought in and retained. I later got to find out from the girls that they didn't even apply for the job but that they were the top 4 contestants at miss NYSC beauty pageant held at Obubra.

These positions given to these ladies were positions that men fight with tooth and nail for even with flawless credentials. Secondly , when I left the banking sector, I got involved in politics and got to see how women were given contracts for works they did not bid for just because they were sleeping with commissioner . I also got to see where positions were reserved for women "because e no go good make woman no dey the committee" while intelligent and qualified men were shoved aside. I have seen women get it so easy that I wonder how some institutions continue to function

I was going to respond to that lady's comment but changed my mind b cos nairaland is full of insulting peeps. A lot of time women have it easier than us in almost all life's facet. Even in schools. In my department, there was this very intelligent girl, she is already in first class and was supposed to graduate as the second best behind a guy. In order to make the lady lead, the department change the guy's score in final year's project from A to B even though his supervisor scored him an A. So, the lady became the best graduating student simply because she is a lady. Now I'm not saying she doesn't deserve it. She is a very smart young woman. But, robbing someone else just to have a woman lead is favouritism. So, society has a lot of injustice to either gender in different ways.

Hmm.. Many Of This Myth You're Talking Are No Longer Practice In Nigeria,(but If There Is, Please Tell Me)... Abeg Make Una Leave Africa And Nigeria Alone,, This Is Not America.. We Have Our Own Belief And Our Cultures Varies,, Just That Many Nigerian Have Been Brainwashed By This America Lifestyle.. This One You're Talking Women Been Oppress, Do You Know Men Have It Worst,, In My Culture If A Man Is Caught Committing Adultery, He Will Be Flogged 38 Lashes, While They Won't Do Anything To The Women.. As If Na Only D Man Do D Thing.

So the nysc contestants were all brainless?
The women put in those positions which intelligent men were set aside are all brainless?

Get a life.

Feminism is anti-human as well as anti-African and anti-Lion. Women need strong men and society can not do without the male being strong. Show me a society with weak men and I will show you a people beat down by another on a daily basis. Human beings really do not have any natural predators among animals when they group together or have weapons. But among the world society, that exists societies outside of our own, which we know all too well, exists tons of human predators that men must defend their nations and kingdoms from or pay the price of enslavement.

Nigerians must acknowledge the value of the Queen Mother, of women and girls, and how important they are in developing a stronger stock of people. It is through women leaders that human behavior is improved and elevated to a higher place. Those ethnic groups that refuse to understand this simple fact will not survive the change of worlds. And if they do survive it will only come at a higher price. How come we just do not do what is demanded of us? This is called sacrifice and there is no way around sacrifice.

Women need men as men need women. Without this lion this entire pack of lionesses and their cubs would have starved to death. The Lions are kings because of the strength of the male. Which the first teacher of the male cub is the Lioness. Show me a lion pride with weak and poor hunting lioness and I will show you weak cubs that turn to be weak lions. grin
