Why not come out straight and ask instead of all these your dilly dallying?

You suddenly changed the savings argument from £1k to £2k.

My Oga, I dare not.... I would not prode a Russian bear with a sharp stick...........

So all those saving £2000, when they receive a call from Nigeria requesting financial assistance...... Do they give or ignore?

There's trick to that mate...that phone will ring in silent mode till thy kingdom come.

There are some that give you access to a webcam to see your child real time...They charge about £1400 a month sha

Chai @ £1400.

Something needs to be done with this childcare costs issue.

Before I got married, I planned on having 10 kids. grin

However, after seeing how much it costs to keep one child in nursery (the option of madam being a stay at home mum is not even on the cards), I’m actually contemplating getting snipped. grin

Let’s not even go into the cost of getting a child educated privately. That’s what my wifey wants and we are both hustling towards it.

Why not send to a state school (free), and pay for private tuition afterwards?

Nigerian people get monthly budget x 6 months at a go.If something comes up they can sort from there and I reimburse if need be.
Again that’s why a budget is beautiful..there’s always spare money for unplanned expenditure, this rolls over and becomes savings over time
Thank you YNAB

Don't mind him, I know loads of naija guys that earn £500 per day and don't even pay much tax cos they are contractors. Once you are not under any visa restrictions, it is easy to make money in the UK.

Hehehe!!! A lot of engineers that I know earning over £500 per day were not affected by IR35. They are still paying as low as 10-15% tax overall.

They were able to prove that they are not impacted by the 3 main pointers of IR35. Some specialist in NHS were out of scope too but most regulars guys just took on the chin and went umbrella. I pity some NHS and public sector contractors, they got hit badly.
