I'm not a supporter of this present administration in any level but I believe that by 2020 Nigeria will be free from the issue induced fuel scarcity by otedola and co. so no free money for them again.. To be frank, with the completion of dangote's refinery by 2019 nd all these modular refineries we should have no business importing again and if we have to it will be little..

Otedola is not the cause of petrol shortages. His specialty is diesel for which the price has been deregulated and no longer subsidised any longer.

Diesel is rarely ever scarce unlike petrol which government dictates the price rather than deregulate it like diesel.

The New refineries will not end petrol scarcity. Only a deregulation will. The refineries will be unwilling to sell below the cost of production.

Presently, the landing cost of petrol at the port is 171 Naira while the regulated price is 145. That's a subsidy of 26naira ler litre and 2 billion daily.

Dangote says that local production will slash the cost by about 23naira per litre. That means the price will be around 148 per litre from the refinery.That's still higher than the regulated price. I grin when people say local production will end scarcity.

As long as the price remains fixed rather than deregulated, artificial scarcity will be a constant presence. The truth is bitter.

You need to understand that 10 modular refineries that would refine about 300,000 barrels of crude oil will certainly not be less
than four football field each.
I know you don't understand the technicalities involved in such project hence you take loafers serious when they make silly statements
about their achievements and what they intend to do.
