Why is it someone else's responsibility to build a ranch for the owners of the cows, are they giving out the meat for free?

Rather people should be motivated into setting up ranches, the cows becomes productive in terms of milk and beef, their dung provide cooking gas and part of electricity supply in the ranch and the slurry generated from the biodigester serves as organic fertilizer for crops.... so much to gain.

herders dont have the money to build ranches.and i dont think the type of cows they rear are suitable for ranches.

they already said that themselves.you have to buy new breeds for them too.thats going to be very expensive.

The owners of those are who am referring to. I still insist their breeds are suitable for ranching they are just merely floating excuses. Go to Israel and see how they have transformed deserts into food baskets.

Will the cows they roam around with collapse and die if they are fed while staying in one place? Zero grazing is the way to go after the milk and corn beef that end up in Nigeria are products of zero grazing. Let them not get stuck in their old ways, owners should invest in innovative knowledge.

The cows in Okpara Square are owned by the governor of Enugu state. It is known to most people.

Okpara Square is just a few metres away from the governor's office and the level of confidence those cows and their tenders have gathered over time is disturbing. They could force vehicles to a standstill when they want to, regardless of what the traffic light says at that time.

An Enugu based lawyer and journalist, Chijioke Okibe, has revealed his displeasure after seeing some cows grazing openly at the "highly-secured" Michael Okpara square in Enugu state. According to him, the popular Okpara square which is used for series of top events in the state - is not open to citizens who want to exercise there but is allegedly opened to cows for feeding.
