UbanmeUdie:
shocked

Awesome!

I hope his case will be different at the end of the day. Nigeria does not recognize nor celebrate his kind.

I pray he doesn't get discouraged when the needed help and attention doesn't come from the Nigerian Government.

I also pray he gets a speedy international help!

Goodluck!

WHY WOULD THEY CELEBRATE HIM?

1. HE DID NOT STEAL SO NIGERIANS CANNOT CELEBRATE HIM
2. HE IS NOT A PDP OR APC MEMBER SO HE CANNOT BE CELEBRATED
3. HE IS NOT NAKED SO HE WOULD NOT BE CELEBRATED
4 THE ONLY PERSONS NIGERIANS DO CELEBRATE ARE POLITICIANS THAT STOLE, NAKED CELEBRITIES AND THE REST

When electric shock him, I don't wanna hear village people o.U people are hailing him now because he merely put some scrap metals inside the stream. He wants to disturb mummy water with his electric rubbish.
I wish him well sha..... undecided

The wrong impression of 200mw should be correct..What l saw in that picture, the machine can't survive more than 5 bulb of 60 watts at a given time, therefore the power is << l better pass my labour.200MW is enough for the whole Lagos state.

ha that wire can not even conduct 1kva not to talk of the machine lie from the pit of Hell

200kva is not a man job oooo not to talk of 200 mega watt na die be that now, na go Just blow lie up and down

I searched and found the brilliant chaps details online and following discussions with him, he affirmed that its a 200Watt hydro power generator.

The alternator and size of water runoff are key determinants to generating bigger Watts.

His demonstration was a show of capacity and can develop as required.

If you need to reach Augustine. Drop your number and i will personally shoot you his number by SMS free of charge.

Nice one, but u are playing with jail because the cabals will kill this project.

Nice try keep it up.

Remember the Niger deltan refinery boys

It's better to saved ur little money and strength and depart to a country that will value and promote ur skills.

Ask Philips emegwuli... the super computer wizard and others..

Nice but that can never be 200MW. Which transmission line the carry that kind power? Those cables I de see there? And which generator the bring am out? Impossible.

Trust me, I applaud his magnificent effort but
1) as an insider in d power industry, I know for sure that that thing can't produce 2megawatts not to even talk of 20 or 200MW.
2) as an electrical guy, I believe he understands d magnitude of current he's generating n knows d risk involved so he oughts to be safety conscious by protecting himself n d immediate production environment.
3) he should have plans to monetize his trade cos I know d worth of each kilowatt/hour or d commodity.
Once again kudos to him

This boy does not to wait for encouragement... Simply do a small feasibility study and arrange this for local people and see how they will patronise him

I stopped reading at 200MW...he must have the keys to the world energy crisis.

ExAngel007:
[sup][/sup]UNIVERSITY GRADUATE CONSTRUCT HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER PLANT, GENERATE ELECTRICITY

32 years old Augustine Otuokwa Ogar, a graduate ofElectronic and Computer Technology, has constructed a200 Mega Watts mini Hydroelectric power plant thatgenerate electricity for the plant site and itssurrounding Mgbaeshuo village of Wula Community,Eastern Boki, Boki LGA, Cross River State.

Remarkable and exceptional Augustine Otuokwa Ogar,
constructed this Hydroelectric Plant with locally selected handpicked materials and equipments and intelligently put them together.

He converts the kinetic energy of a flowing stream water into electric energy that is now used in homes and business areas of this village.

Generated on a small scale with 'run-off' installation of a naturally flowing stream water to turn and revolve its turbine.

The Water rushes past the turbine, hitting its blades and causing it to spin and rotate, converting the water's kinetic energy into mechanical energy, the water then finally flows out of the stream and continues its journey down stream.

"When the turbine spins so does the electromagnetic field convert this mechanical energy into electric energy" he said and continue, "the flow rate of the stream water is low, because its not a dam or water fall, this is a small stream with low flowing water, Yet I was able to convert it to bring Pressure and fall like a
Dam."

Augustine Otuokwa Ogar, needs encouragement, support, total empowerment from Government and spirited Nigerians.

If he can generate power from his locally constructed Hydroelectric power plant then, with Empowerment, he can construct a more Ingenious energy generating plant that can serve the entire Local Government and Senatorial Zone.

Good job bro but that engine can't produce 200Mwatt maybe he meant to say 0.20MW

He did this for the community? Over to you Government..

200Mega watts? Hmmm
You're very very right the motor he installed is less than 2hp so the energy generated can never be 200mw. You know bloggers nah.

Nice to read your piece. Very thoughtful, he floated the first simple law of safety "ABC", Always Be Careful. He walk into hydro generating field so casually and very very dangerous. The amount of electricity generated is enough to kill him if something goes wrong.

Nigeria is doomed if this is what university graduate can dish out in the 21st century when the world is already moving towards AI.

200 MW ke?

Nigeria as a whole is currently at 5000MW.

That shitt up there is more like 100-150W.

The usual Biafra scam, I see. How can this scrawny turbine generate 200MW?
