Good advice, I have been with babypips for long and I can confidently say that they have been trying in the field forex. Especially their babypips school on forex trade, it is a good platform for newbies to learn whatever they need to learn
So whomever you were advising had better take this good advice; learn,practice-repeat the process before you trade real account.

He also needs a good mentor on how to master market psychology.

'Sup Newbies in the house. If you are like me you are staring at charts and anticipating next week. Let's play a few games starting with this one. In the charts below, where is the key resistant and support point? Mind you, i said "is" not "are". There is only one for each in regards to the trend that occurred in the time frame. Pros are not welcome to participate wink.

For the first picture the key resistance is 1 while the support is 5

For the move that occurred for the EUR/AUD chart, it's 2 and 6 and the USD/CHF chart is 5 and 6. See the charts again with the horizontal and conventional trend lines attached and it should start to make sense. One indicator which is widely overlooked is the moving average. It is overlooked because of the bad rep indicators have. It has a bad rep because it is often used as a predictor instead of what it is meant to be. Which is to indicate. See how the moving average respects the trend line on the EUR/AUD pair? Compare that to what happened on the USD/CHF chart. Both patterns are virtually identical except for the different directions they both took. You can pretty much stencil either chart, super impose on any time frame, and you'll see that pattern virtually everywhere. One misconception is the myth about trend lines. I could pull up a chart now and ask you to draw the significant trend line and the trend line you'll draw will be different from what 200 other traders will draw. Each trader will see what they wanna see. This is why the MA is key to drawing a solid trend line. I added a daily chart of the USD/CHF for clearity. What occurred on the 30 min TF of the pair is starting to form on the daily. All we need to do is just wait and see if the MA trend line is respected or if it will fail. I could pull up 10 different charts and you'll see this pattern evolve. Now, with everything said, this is a very dangerous way to trade. I'm talking about swing trading. It's fun because there is constant action and it keeps you engaged. But, there are going to be days or trades when you'll not be on your game and start seeing patterns where there are none. I just gave away what most people will pay thousands of dollars to learn for free. Use it wisely. Good luck.

Shout out to currentprice and sunnycliff. These mofos have been on this thread for years and are sticking to it through thick and thin. Others have fallen by the wayside but they are still here. That's the only way to succeed in this business. Through thick and thin.

My 3 core elements to successful trading;

Participation
Low-risk entries
Growth

Price likes to double wick bounce, triple wick bounce, open price bounce, 50% fib bounce. One of them always always happens.
I will enter at a low risk opportunity and let the market either take me out for a small loss/BE or reward me.

E/Aud is all sell for me, screaming more sell.

Good thing you have room to downside , so might got exhausted before it got to your stop loss and reverse your way. So you've got to hang in there mate.

Babypips has been extremely simplified,
All you need a patience and diligence,
Don't try to rush it all in at a go, sip slow,
Oh, also take a pen and paper for jolting,
This is back to school only difference is that this is the school of money making in the long run!

Cheers!!

My brother, to learn forex trading as a newbie is not that easy even with babypips. He needs a teacher and a successful mentor definitely. I remember my first forex learning experience, everything was like rocket science even with a teacher that I paid 30k. Lets tell ourselves the truth. Forex trading is simple but it is one of the most difficult job in the world. There is a high chance he will lose his first trading capital. I lost $1000 personally when I started trading in 2007 . Let him get a successful mentor otherwise he will join the 95% losing traders.
