I don come again o my people, I just find out that the front camera of my Redmi Note 4x is not functioning. polar what could be the problem and how can it be rectified? The option to switch from back to front camera is not even showing at all, and I've rebooted almost 25 times, I've done a factory reset, I've even updated from miui 8 to miui 9 all to no avail.

Aaaah! It fell and some days later dropped into a bucket of water. I just noticed this fault now after replacing the screen. If it's truly hardware issue, can it be fixed?
