Fulani Herdsmen Promised 23 Million Votes For GEJ During 2015 Election by sarrki(m): 12:53pm On Jan 11, 2018
A Fulani socio-cultural group known as Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has revealed that it would mobilise 23 million voters for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general elections.

This was made known on Monday in Abuja by the national leadership of the association led by the chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello Bodejo and secretary, Saleh Alhassan Kubah.

Leadership reports that Bodejo claimed that 23 million registered voters belonging to the association have decided to support Mr. President because of his Agricultural Transformation Agenda.

Bodejo further explained that both the ethnic Fulanis and pastoralists have been able to mobilise more than 23 million voters for Jonathan, adding that they have an efficient means of mobilising their kinsmen whom they directed to register in all the places they live and have done so. He said these are the votes they promise President Jonathan in the 2015 general election.

The chairman, who listed the prominent Fulani pastoralists serving in the Jonathan administration to include the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Adamu Mu’azu; the private secretary to the president, Alhaji Umar Tukur; political adviser to the president, Prof. Ahmed Alkali and the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Balla Mohammed, distance themselves from involvement in Boko Haram activities. He said they were elated as well as support the agreement reached between government and the sect.

Speaking on the effects of the ongoing Boko Haram insurgency and the continued conflicts between farmers and herdsmen in the country, Bodejo called on government and other relevant stakeholders to immediately wade in and end the violence in the northern region.

Speaking also, Engr. Kubah debunked reports of suspected Fulani herdsmen involving in sectarian crises, especially in Nasarawa and other northern states.

“The crises you spoke about are multi-faceted and stems from the struggle for power in the states. Former IGP, Mohammed Abubakar instituted a high-powered committee comprising of DIGs to unravel the root causes of the crises and they had since submitted their report. The Fulani pastoralists were exonorated but unfortunately were caught up in the political crises,” he said.

Engr. Kubah further explained that the Egon people, unleashed the Ombatse Cult against the Fulanis and others, but following JTF’s intervention, the crises was quickly stemmed. He said what they have left in Nasarawa state is cattle rustlers and miscreants parading themselves as Fulani pastoralists.

He condemned the fact that they (Fulanis) were being victimised and targeted for unnecessary profiling and criminality which he claimed security reports have exempted them from.

It would be recalled that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday, September 18, decided on a sole candidate for 2015 presidential elections, and it is Incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan.

Also a group known as the New Dawn Nigeria (NDN) promised the highest number of votes to President Goodluck Jonathan from the South-West in the 2015 presidential electionselections

This is the same problem with GEJ; shifting the blame of boko haram instead of dealing with it.

Who cares who their grand patron is? Who cares who they supported in 2015? As long as President Buhari is CIC, it is his job to stop them so get to work and stop the diversions.

One of the greatest problems Nigerians have is a short memory and lack of depth in analyzing issues.

The herdsmen trouble will take a multi-faceted approach not the they are "evil people that must disappear" mentality.

If people insisted on the criminality being checked and not seeking to make it an Ethnic Triumphing opportunity, it would be easier to manage.

Boss I am an ardent pmb supporter

I am not happy with some policy and security issues

Most especially the Fulani herdsmen issues

Politicizing everything about this government is what we kicked against.

Having said that I am 100% sure baba is untop of the game as we speak

Sarrki my friend, you know i am a strong fan of PMB but pls my friend let's not politicize these killings by his kinsmen rather we need to condemn these evil acts been carried out by these blood sucking FULANI HERDSMEN. Baba is not doing much on these unnecessary killings so he deserves our knock.
GEJ i do not like cos of his looting habit but let's leave GEJ out dis issue. PMB is in power right now, PMB has refused to take proactive steps to stop his kinsmen from committing these evil act, something that has taken a terrible dimension since 2016.
What if tomorrow your village or mine is invaded by these guys and they kill our loved ones?? I don't think you or i will blame GEJ.
Don't politicize dis issue abeg, people are loosing their loved ones in a gruesome way. We all need to be sober right now, we don't need to support PMB blindly rather we should praise him where he has done right and criticize him where he is getting it wrong.
I supported soldiers dealing with IPOB miscreants.
I supported soldiers dealing with Niger delta Avengers.
I supported soldiers dealing with cattle rustlers.
Why can't PMB use same soldiers to deal with these devilish killer herdsmen?
This is sad man, PMB needs to sit up, d killing is just too much.

Still on GEJ, ehn BMC?

The current ruling party's obsession with President Jonathan three years down the line is indeed stuff of legend. He's got them in awe of him literally speaking.

Think psychologists have to study this trait (that is, if they haven't already) - where someone has left office or position of authority for his/her successor - yet mysteriously supposedly yields unseen authority and influence over the successor's every move.

Fear? Paranoia? Insanity? or something else lurking within the shadows? Leave it to the psychological experts to attempt to explain.
